I change my mind# Don't buy it I think spend money in a play player game is very very stupid! Hahaha......
I just need to vent my frustration on my straight 8 lose 0 win. All Normal difficulty. This game is a dick! I start to have an impression that a dude who win 18 games in a row is just lucky, not skillful. I am going to be a pussy and play on easy.
I'm not winning 18 times in a row. Looking at my stats, I've got about 13% victories out of around 230 games. About half of the victories are in normal, and most of the losses/ quits. Probably if you quit early in a hopeless run, you'll be less frustrated (although I think you usually need to make quite a few major mistakes/ be unlucky several times to actually make a run irrecoverable). And which ships you're using makes a lot of difference too - some are pretty bad, some are ok but have one or two flaws that you need to work around. (No shields, very weak shields, only missile weapons, no scanners, etc.)
Tried to edit the IPA to install on my 4S, and did it, but it crashed all the times. The one time that I got to the start menu, the text was extremely tiny. Maybe on a 6+... but nothing smaller I'm afraid.
Works on 6+. Have had a couple of crashes. Generally it's a tad small but you can use the zoom screen function and it's fine. It does seem to ignore the sound switch so need to turn sound down manually if not wanted. Also can't get it to fully stretch to fill the whole screen. Can anyone else? (I'm using full force) Minor gripes only
Started playing this again a few days ago.. Freaking love this game although it kicks my ass every time
Yep I was playing it a few weeks ago and it's awesome. Like I said above, I have it running on my 6+, and with the help of the IOS zoom feature every now and then, it's a pleasure. Great game, which should never leave anyone's device. Good for a play through at any time. Thoroughly recommended.
Finally won! Feels awesome.. Always reached the last sector but could never get over the top.. Ship used was an engi cruiser, weapons used were an ion blaster, burst laser and a combat drone. Also had a defense drone equipped.. I had 8 crew members which helped immensely.. I thought I wasn't going to have enough fire power but that ion blaster is clutch.. I truly feel like I accomplished something lol.. I bought this game day one and it's never left my device.. Pretty stoked ###

Nice one! I had the same immense feeling just from beating the game using basically same ship and gear and that was on easy setting after many many tries. What helped is watching some youtubes of victories with the torus. I'm not observant enough to note what I did wrong each run and improve upon it. Still felt like an amazing achievement when I won.

Btw luciano, to help detract from any social life, the /ftlgame Reddit sub is quite popular and gets good posts every few hours even.
I actually play on my 6+. This loads fine with a a jailbreak. I do have to use the IOS zoom function every now and then, but once you know the game it's fine. I'd imagine the writing is way too small on a 6 though.
