It actually doesn't. I paid full price. I have no problem with this sale. They are participating in the Steam summer sales and matched the price on iOS, which I think is only sensible.

It hardly does. I'll go "aw that sucks" but after a few seconds I'll be over it. If you're so upset about game sales then just never buy a game at full price. Wait for it to go down to $0.99 or free.

Yea right, you're just masking the real upset you feel deep within with these drops. Just admit it Royce!

But I want to support devs at the same time by buying on launch. I'm kind of in a dilemma I can't resolve.

If you buy a game at full price just think that you bought the devs a couple of beers or a box of pizza! If it's a good game (like FTL) then they deserve it for sure. If it's a bad game... well you win some, you lose some.

So Gov, do you ever buy IOS games on sale? If so, how do you feel then?

To me, app price fluctuations are to be expected. As a consumer, I win some and I lose some. I just hope that the deserving developers do well.

It probably will fall to $5 or $4 in the future, since its not even 1 year old (out Apr 2nd 2014). Unsure on $1 since some premium games never fall that low. But if its a good enough game as the PC version, plus your willing to play it asap without having an insane backlog of unplayed games, and you have the funds then it may be worth $7.

  8. Shouldn't you really be blaming the developers? I mean, they were the ones who put the game on sale?

If you want to support the devs, then that's great. It's great if you think developers deserve even more money for their game. Just don't act like someone farted in front of the queen just because someone posts that a developer put their game on sale to coincide with another sale of the same game on another platform

I mean, it's been nearly 2 1/2 months since the game was released and it only dropped $3. At least it didn't drop to $1 after 10 days

Calm down! A sale does not predict the doom of mankind!

I thought a sale was the first sign of the apocalypse.....Oh well, I guess it's time to leave my bomb shelter. Thanks for nothing Gov, I just wasted my weekend.

Am I the only one sensing some degree of sarcasm from Gov? He seems to be playing the average sale whining character rather than expressing genuine discontent.

I sense a tool. Everyone should stop responding to his ridiculous comments.

What do we call people that name call on the internet?

Some people need to grow up. Not everyone will share your opinion. You can hate them all you want, but name calling is childish and usually makes you look worse than who is offending you.

Eh? I'm not sure I understand. Are you attempting to passively do the same thing or are we teaching school lessons?

On topic: FTL is worth every penny at full price. This sale makes it an easy decision.

This is what I came to say. FTL is a must have at $10, so with a discount it's a no-brainer.

Guys, you forget that FTL's price has previously gotten even lower on steam (somewhere between 2-3 bucks). If the devs have made such a sale in the past, there is no reason it will not happen again even on iOS.
    Just saying...

Since I did not call anyone names, it was nowhere close to the same. It is false equivalent by someone who desperately is unable to admit mistakes and accept responsibility. Instead, you deflect and attack some more. It is validation that my statement was 100% correct.

Would you consider name calling to be mature behavior? Really?
