  1. Looks like this extends to the iPod 3G as well too actually, I couldn't find the app anywhere.

I would like to also see a Game Center Multiplayer based on classic mode and one based on Dual Mode. And maybe a normal non Game Center Classic mode were you try to get a high score and your opponent tries to beat it

Thank you for your quick response. I am looking forward to it. Also, it seems I am not the only one with this complaint, but could you make both players have the same set amount of fruit? Even with getting all the bonus fruit and not messing up, I still barely win or lose.

Also echoing what someone else wrote

Please make an equal number of fruit appear in multiplayer!

    Try this:
Don't swipe any fruit at all for 20 whole seconds (1/3 of the game, accumulating quite a shortfall in points) and then start playing... You'll actually win most of the time.

Well its good to hear Shiz & me aren't the only ones who want an equal number of fruit..I understand Halfbrick may want to make things fair, but its kinda weird when you're getting multiple combos, slicing the majority of the +3 fruits, and yet your opponent STILL manages to catch up quite a bit.

    Equal number of fruit Halfbrick.

I can only imagine how awesome the icon would look without that silver-and-green monstrosity taking up real-estate that could otherwise be used to further emphasize the awesomeness of cutting up a watermelon in mid-air.

Yeah, catch up is indeed in the current version of Fruit Ninja, as many of you have noted.

We are looking to relax it a bit so it doesn't rubber band you into the lead, it should catch you up to just behind them, but not in front!.

Catch up will always be in there in some form or another. Its not fun to lose by a heap of points, and it isn't fun to just completely roll someone over either. The purpose of catch up is to keep things interesting for everyone who is playing. Most people on these forums represent the more hardcore side of things, but we are also trying to look out for the young kids, old parents and all the rest who fall far more squarely into the casual audience.

Anyway, keep an eye out for an update soon that adds the GC achievements, GC leaderboards and also tweaks the catch up! :D

Thankyou. But yeah, if you are clearly better than your opponent (as should be evident if you are 20 points ahead halfway through the minute), you should frankly have no chance of winning unless your opponent flops the game.

Just a simple "highscore" (in 1 game) leaderboard would be an absolutely fantastic addition to GC.

    Thanks for the quick response.

i have one suggestion for Halfbrick, catch up is super! but could u please add option of auto slicing if someone can not hit fruits? I mean if u play vs someone who can slice fruits, and u can not, than this game is not fun and simple catch up is not going to work.

p.s. simple testing, like for example another great idea with placement of monsters in Monster Dash (and this is still not fixed btw), can be very useful. Or maybe this is innovative idea? imagine CSS, if u are low your hitboxes will be smaller or enemies recoil greater. XD

Dislike rubber banding, played online once could visibly see I was dominating the game, somehow ended up losing and ultimately just felt cheated, not played online again since. Some people like competition, some people don't; is there no way you could make two seperate online modes, or lobbies, say Hardcore (Competitive Non-Rubber banded) and Fun (Rubber banded)? Why not try to meet all of your market instead of trying to go halfway for everyone and ultimately missing the mark for some of us, disappoint. Other than that love the game!
