Both players see the white fruit at the same time. If the time difference between both people slicing it is less than the latency, both players are awarded the points. This was the fairest way we could figure to implement this. Maybe in an update we should show that both players got the white fruit though.
When I invite a friend it tries to find a third player then I can hear the game being played, but it stays on the green loading screen. Anyone having this issue? Game plays fine when auto choosing opponent.
Sorry I read that after my previous postings: Oh no. Thank you. Very interesting! Something like a Smart Auto Choosing System. Through and through welcome! Give new players a chance against all those supermen. Yes. Technically it works fine especially when you get a phone call or game invitation during gameplay. The game stops (for both players I guess) and there is a player button overlay. Sorry for your problems with invitations. I did not try it with this game yet but with others it worked.
From what I'm reading there the dev said it's not in the game yet Oh lol I posted that in the wrong fruit ninja discussion
Right now we have a leaderboard in Openfeint. It simply tracks the number of victories you have had. Check it out! A proper Game Center leaderboard will be on its way in a future update
OK, people are pretty much insane. According to our leaderboards, user JimmyTNYC has already won over 130 multiplayer games. Talk about dedicated!
S.u.c.k.s Well , This Update SUCKS !!!!!!! I Just Bought The Game On My iPhone 3G , And I Can't Play The Multiplayer !!! W.T.F !? Can't You Tell It Before !! Thanks Halfbrick For This ***** Update !!!! Just iPhone 3Gs AND ETC .. !?!?!?!?!?!! Need A update To Fix This Shhiiiiiiiiiii !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Calm the f*ck down. If you would've read then you should've known that multiplayer is supported through GameCenter. Don't blame Halfbrick for your ignorance. Btw, Fruit Ninja is still fun without multiplayer. There's a reason why its constantly in the Top 10.
Multiplayer on Gamecenter Hi, while i certainly understand the developers using gamecenter i am quite surprised how much effort is done just for this (especially since all 3G users are left in the rain -> i still cant understand the decision from apple) and the social gaming platforms already available are working great. As a result i am quite disappointed that most multiplayer implementations are going to use(using) Gamecenter. I hope that with the availability of cross-platform multiplayer games with openfeint this will also be supported if not being the preferred platform to support !!! Do you think that openfeint multiplayer will be available in the future for Fruit Ninja ??? Thanks
I installed the 1.4 update on both my and my girlfriend's iPhone 4, both running 4.1 with GameCenter. On mine, multiplayer works fine, but on hers the multiplayer icon is dark and says "Connect to play" or something like that. I've done some troubleshooting and I can't figure out what the problem is. Her wifi is working; I checked the FN version number in app and it's definitely 1.4; she has used GameCenter before on her phone and it works fine; I restarted her phone. The only thing I can think of is that since we both sync to the same computer, the game on both phones is tied to my iTunes account. I can't imagine that's a problem, but I thought I'd let you know. Anyone else having this problem? I'd love to try multiplayer even though she is going to kill me at it!
Is her gamecenter tied to your iTunes account or did she set up a new one? Example You login with your iTunes and create your username She logs in with your iTunes but has a different username If so, that's the issue. It's counting you as the same user even though you're on different devices. On a different note: I'm killin it in multiplayer
