no, no your right, having the first true mp game on game center isn't a update worthy of anything. Who cares about the achievements, I get to test my skills against a live opponent.

As I mentioned before, achievements will come. We have over 2 million users with Openfeint achievements, so its a delicate process to get it all happening. Look out for it in an update soon!

Actually its not the first. Lot of games have multi already and a few of pangea's even have live voice chat too

I wonder if voice chat is enabled in Fruit Ninja. Will we be as bad as those kids playing COD on Xbox 360 :D:p

Boah. Giving up now. Lost each game. There seem to be people who are playing it since months. Very hard for newcomers. There should be classes or something so you meet only equal players who played for about the same time. But so it is only frustrating.

The same with Nanosaur 2. There are only a few multiplayers but all are profs since a long time and you see the racing track for the very first time… No chance.

When you want to be massacred go and do multiplayer. :( No fun at all.

We had actually implemented voice chat, but its just in the results screen (wanted to keep the game as lag free as possible), and you both have to agree to start a voice chat. You can also mute them very easily, so if you get some foul mouthed 14 year old its not really a problem.

The reason we pulled it at the last moment was because we actually found a bug in Game Center itself! Hopefully it will make it into the first update however, its SUPER cool getting to talk between games :)

Checked five or six friends playing Fruit Ninja but all have "no score". Is this normal?

    MP is only on GameCenter?

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Another game that I'm missing out on because I only have a 1st gen iTouch. I hate Apple. :(

Sorry man! :( We support every device as much as we can, but eventually Apple is starting to cut some old devices out!

You can have 1 free hug if it will make you feel better?

I got Veggie Samurai for free, but with this GC update, I'm pretty tempted to pick this one up (or maybe StarDunk, too).

Does the GC update make a big difference and how is this better than Veggie Samurai?

I've tried Veggie samurai and this seriously is miles bettar than that (sorry quantumsquid, but thats the truth). Gamecenter multiplayer made it even better. Definitely worth your money if you liked veggie samurai. Though I must warn you, you wont be playing veggie samurai once you get this ;)

Veggie Samurai is a cheep knockoff of this game. If I were Halfbrick I would have sued the living crap out of QS.

I just tried the GC multiplayer and got auto-matched up with "TeddyCPA". I'ts pretty intense! If you've seen the iPad advert where they briefly play Fruit Ninja on the split-screen, its like that. You have to slash your coloured fruits, while avoiding the others... hitting their ones deducts points. We both won a game each by only afew points, and its really quite close! Makes a big difference to the game, as you're not just chasing high scores, but really trying to beat a realtime live player!
