why? because of my pervasive rage! I hate making a calculated swipe at a watermelon who is just wiggling behind a couple bombs only to have the hit not register. My second swipe either entirely missing or connecting with bomb. (rage)
Very sorry to hear your problems are persisting Shumby. Have you also tried reinstalling? Some of the older model phones may still have a few issues pop up. You can rest assured though that yes, we are fixing it and you are guaranteed a smooth Fruit Ninja experience. We will have the update submitted to Apple today and will let you know the instant it is live. Don't delete the game and I promise we will come through with not only jsut this fix - but an absolute tonne of new content in the coming weeks. And, it's official guys - Fruit Ninja is now the #5 top paid app in the United States. So glad to see it keeps climbing - the more sales we get the longer we can support the game with free updates. I can't wait to show you guys more stuff we are working on!
I hope you guys reach #1 on the app store.. you definitely deserve it. This game is the greatest essence of pick-up-and-play. Beautiful, fun, and simple.

No problem, let me know how you go with the reinstall! As for the 1.02 update. Sneak preview, hmmmm....what can I reveal? Well, new fruit for one. BUT WHICH KINDS ZOOOMMGGG!!11 But new functionality also. Perhaps a new menu? Perhaps a new gameplay feature added? Who knows? Could be anything....... SUSPENSE
If that's gonna be a problem, then can we at least get to slice fruit in different areas? I mean watching the fruit fly in half is cool, but not very realistic if I chop the edge and it cuts it in half instead. I wanna be able to slice the fruit at different points.
How about cutting up cut fruit for effect? Like you slice like crazy and you happen to cut a fruit more than once. No extra points etc.
Exactly - but I think it would involve a bit more work than we imagine. I mean - each fruit would have to have 3 different 'ways' to be sliced... an animation for slicing them horizontally (like the banana already is), vertically (like a banana split ), and diagonally either way. Add to that the ability to slice them at any point (slicing the top or bottom of a banana off, horizontally) seems it would add a lot of work to the devs' list. 100 brownie points if they pull it off though :O
