It's technically true. But anything with plenty of sugar does the exact same thing because it absorbs fast. Fruits, juices, donuts, candy bars, etc. all do the same thing. The fact that apples do it is an urban legend based off a study that smelling green apples (not eating, just smelling) can alleviate migraine headaches. I have that article saved in my google reader if you want see it. Another study showed that smelling green apples can make you alert after waking up but it may have to do with the above study with migraines. I think the study was done in finland but I didn't save that one.

I think I came across that one in my searches. I didn't end up putting it in the game because I couldn't find a way to word it so it would fit in that tiny little box of text however! Might have to give it a go, its such a great little factoid! I would like to see that very much. Factoids often have interesting yet tenuous links between causality and correlation

Hi First time poster in TouchArcade . In love with arcade mode for fruit ninja . However have any of you experience not having your high score updated in Game Center. My game center still displays my old high score from last week and has not been updated since. Is there a fix for this?
It could be that you were disconnected from the internet and openfeint did not save the score offline.
absolutely love the new mode...but is it just me or do the combo oportunities invariably dry up as soon as you get a double point banana? Frustrating!
Ok, is there anything i can do to fix this? Cause i managed to work my way up to the top10 in arcade mode and not getting registered is quite upsetting
The arcade mode turns Fruit Ninja into a whole new game... one I actually like now The classic mode was a little too frustrating with bombs=game over, this is a nice compromise and the new power-ups keep things interesting. It's a really awesome update.
