Hmmm. A bit disappointing. There are full real time shadows in the preview video on the App Store. No option to put them on in-game. I guess it's the pc version in the vid and they cut them for performance. Not impressed at all with the graphics. 3d games without shadows look a bit lame on modern devices IMO (iPad Air). Got a refund for now.

 

Can you expand on this? Do you mean It doesn't save its current state at all when switching apps, or you have to simply go through the menu again (without having to restart the current scenario again)?

If it's the former, it's a total deal breaker for me.

 

Are there shadows on the iPhone 6 or iPad Air 2?

 

It has to load the game again when switching, but your spot in the game is saved.

 

Game is unplayable. I think it is level 6 or around that it crashes every time I click the prime button. I cannot do anything. Crashes everytiem so now I cannot progress any farther until an update.

 

I know this is an older thread but this is no longer on the app store. Hoping they release frozen synapse 2 on iOS.

Nice! I hope they fixed the issue with the skirmish mode not saving. Just checked, nope.
