The ship is to move from one to another island/mission/level (You can choose the islands on the minimap), and than to attack your enemys from the ship. If you won you can go on land and fight against other enemies. It's hard to figure out the gameplay just with the screenshots, I would say you have a catapult like thing, and you have to shoot at enemies/items with it. The story line is about some vikings, which are searching for the edge of the world because they're thinking the world is a disk Hope I got something right ^^ Nascor *edit* I hope I can add something: Your ship is used as the catapult, you shoot yourself on the land ( as far as possible) and fight there against enemies. You can buy upgrades for your catapult in the shop
Its a platformer where you explore different towns and beat up ninja looking people/creatures. You have to collect golden coins and food/potion items are power ups. The ships helps you travel to different island and you get to upgrade it when you get enough golden coins. There are weapon looking things on it too so perhaps you can pirate other ships and fight ninja on ships and get their gold. *I hope this doesn't sound to stupid but the game looks really cool so I figured I try.
Plotline : You are this person that was captured by the monsters that call themselves vikings (hence the viking helmet in the first screenshot) but they are actually monster pirates and they are trying to kill all the people on the islands to claim the islands as their own. Although you are not one of them. Throughout the game you start acting like a "monster pirate viking." The ship is used as an indicator to show which islands you have visited/defeated. In the end you have to face the "gods/goddesses" of each island and redeem their trust again. So you go on yet another mission to find the "Chaos Emeralds" (Yes, the name of the emerald came from Sonic the hedgehog ) for each island that you and the "monster pirate vikings" destroyed. Once you find them all you must restore the peace on the islands. Then!! A volcano erupts on the island of moohakaka and you have to kill ninjas in order to go to the cave on the side of the volcano and press an "EASY button" from staples to make the volcano stop. -- THE END (it took about 15 minutes to think of what to type)
In this game, you play the leader of a group of nordic vikings who are out to conquer all other civilizations, loot, pillage, and rule the world. The boat, the SS Odin, is used to transport the marauders from island to island in their insatiable thirst for blood, action, and adventure.
In a nutshell: Steve the Magnificent hates those little ninja dudes, and the girl too... for she has the curves he craves. He's got a boat and a totally killer beard. The boat is used for transporting snakes and travelling to islands in search of gold and lasers, the beard is used for pwnage and storing the gold. Anyway, those skulls you see in the screenshots appeal to Steve, and he wants them as his wives. Problem is, those snake things all over Steve's boat ate his feet off, and therefore... walking hurts. He figures if he can bomb enough pain into the little ninja masochists, they'll fall in love with him. Then he can start up a badass fascist regime and the ninjas will construct a monumental palace made from the skulls of Steve's future wives for him to love, touch and kiss forever *deep breath*... The End. The game is controlled by the power of the mind. If this is wrong I recommend you alter your game

Here is my guess: Plot/Storyline - Your a High Seas pirate and you want what all pirates want...GOLD! Why work for it when you can get it for free! You sail from island to island and battle deadly island natives, deadly island creatures and deadly island ninjas! Beware of the deadly island seductress Scarlet Thorne! Gameplay - Sail to each deadly island and use your ship's arsenal to outfit yourself as you prepare to battle to obtain your gold! Shoot, jump and battle your way to the temple and defeat the deadly island Boss to win all the gold you can carry! Use the ill-gotten goods to outfit your ship and become the terror of the High Seas.
This looks like a game where the player fights lots of ninja's using some sort of arrow controls located on the right side of the screen. There appear to be health items available that are activated with controls on the left side of the screen. Because the contest is to guess the plot it is probably some wacky humorous plot about how some ninja sneaked onto a pirate ship, and is now out to kill all the other ninja's and take their treasure. He of course dresses like a pirate, but can change to a ninja, or a female character (crossdressing?! or a female ninja to begin with, your pick) that looks outta place. He or she (now that I think of it) uses all sorts of goodies such as bombs and arrows and stuff to reak havoc on his/her enemies. Along the way the ninja (getting tired of writing he/she) finds out about some captures people and decides to help them. It is a story of (almost) Epic proportion with all sorts of nonsense dazzled in the mixed to keep the player entertained. In the end [Spoiler Alert....] The ninja or pirate [I forgot what I am going with here ] sacrifices himself for the greater good and to save mankind from some sort of evil. The Boat is used to travel, and will be used in between levels during minigames where you battle dragons and creatures of the sea too terrible to actually name in this post (Yes, I know I'm being lazy here). The cannon on your ship will be upgradeable so that the monstrous creatures splatter all over your screen when you shoot them with the highest level weapon.
You are a young viking seeking fame and fortune. In this quest you use a boat to travel from island to island. And while you are at it you pillage everything that is valuable and kill all other living things. You travel to the unknow to satisfy your thirsty of power and greed. And maybe at the ends of the earth you will find a beatiful woman and make her your wife. I think the controls are defined by moves you make on the screen. Like touch the left side of the screen to move left or tap the enemies to shoot them down.
Pirates - These fabled swindlers have undoubtedly dominated the waves ever since the first boat set sail. Their insatiable lust for treasure has led them to the very corners of the earth, pillaging villages and shattering all those who stand in their way. For a long time pirates existed like this, striking fear into the hearts of children at the very mention of their names in bed time stories. The boats they possessed gave them power, and the ability to escape by sea, where no land dweller could possibly follow. This gave them the upper hand in battle, as they had this incredible ability to travel where no other man can - On the seas that they rule. But this advantage was not to last forever… There was a small group of people, practitioners of the hidden art of Ninjutsu, who emerged after many years of concealment and began to roam the lands, living alongside the villagers on peace. Ninjas. However, there came a day when these Ninjas were forced to watch, as pirates arrived and obliterated a small village, burning down the houses, stealing ale from the breweries, and hurting the innocent without apparent reason. The ninjas could not believe it so, that humans, unacceptably similar to themselves, could do such a horrible thing. This of course angered the ninjas, and they vowed to protect the villages of the land with their very lives, for the safety of the village folk within. The pirates however, had other ideas. As far as they were concerned, ninjas or not, there was still treasure to be had, and they didn’t care who stood in their way! And so you take the role of a humble pirate, abandoned by your shipmates as they didn’t deem you good enough to be a real pirate… Hence you decide to take it upon yourself, to attack the ninjas alone (You don’t need those horrible shipmates!), claim the great treasure they possess, and truly prove your worth to your fellow pirates. You’ll show them! You have to use your ship’s cannon to bombard those ninjas with everything you’ve got, maybe including yourself! And so the epic battle shall surely begin... Pirates Vs Ninjas!! Presented with an initially concealed landscape ahead of your boat, you must fire thins, weapons or people into the fog ahead in order to uncover what dwells on the land. Take your shots wisely and try to hit as many things as you can, but watch out for the ninjas! They will do everything within their power to prevent you from hurting the village, so you must act wisely! - And that’s as much as I could be bothered to type... Hopefully it’s somewhat close to the game >.<
They said they liked storylines, so I threw a vague attempt at one together XD I should probably go back and edit it later with some actual gameplay ideas or something... When I can be bothered..
Lol at the one I sent I made the ninjas to be the bad guys, you made it the other way... i guess I'll post it here. 1. Plot: The game is set on a parallel historical universe, place where there was a race called the ninjas, people so strong that noone could stand in their way.... For centuries the "ninjas" ruled the universe, they were everywhere in land to be seen, destroying and killing everything, only the water was safe... and with that, the space where people could live without fear was limited... That created a war between the non-ninjas for survival, and dominance of the water, war in which thousands were lost... and in the end... only two races of people survived. They were the pirates and the vikings. The pirates and the vikings were the strongest of the seas, but alone, they weren't a match for the ninjas. One day, in one of the many pirate/viking battles for the sea, they stumbled upon the corpses of those that were lost in this long battle (they didn't even knew how much time it had been since the start of it), and realized, that that place was big enough for both of them, and that their real enemy, was in fact, the ninjas that had driven them out of the water, and that they'd have to recover that land from them. For that, since they werent strong enough by themselves, they merged to created the Pikings! people that had the characteristics of both of them, and were trained in the secret arts of both races, making them an equal adversary for the "Ninjas". The game takes place then, in the war of the Pikings against the Ninjas, in a journey that has them going island to island, cleaning it of the enemy, in a search for peace... through war. The ninjas, seeing this counter attack after so many years, and just to make it safe, created the "kimono fangirls", creatures of pure energy, with whom they could unite to create even a deadlier monster, THE SAMURAIS! But as it was too late, not many of these were created, being an scarse but even stronger enemy. Who will win this battle for the world? Only your skills can decide that fate. 2. Gameplay: As the Pikings were created and raised in the water, they know if they attack in the land, they'll be vulnerable to the ninjas' great skillzzz (yes, so much power they have 3 zs), so they decided to attack from the water itself, as such, this game, has both catapult based mechanichs and sidescrolling action, the 1st, as it is the mechanism for Pikings to clear the islands of ninjas more easily, and the 2nd being as that, as the island gets lower on ninja population, it is harder to kill them from long range (they dodge all the attacks) so the Pikings have to take on weapons to kill them directly. As wars are not easy, or free, there will also be shops to make your Piking's equipment better, and restock on weapons, and that will be the use of the coins you get in-game, which acts as 2 things, 1st, as it is ninja currency, it serves as means of respect amongs Pikings, showing them how many you've killed and stolen from them, allowing you to access new items, and 2nd, to be the currency to be used to get those weapons (as the shoppers will want these coins for the respect it brings to them, and also because it costs resources to make the items).
Plot The plot is "Conquer/Pillage/Loot" You travel the uncharted seas and destroy all that get in your way. You will deliver an onslaught of arrows, bombs and such from your ship via catapult and bow cannons or the like. Not to mention launch your ugly Viking self through the air to get what you crave no matter the cost of bodily injury. Your barrage will rain down on ninjas and other native characters from each island. All the while you will find their treasures and take them for your own, not to mention their women Distances of discovered enemies and treasures will be on the right of the screen portrayed by a perspective of arrows to gauge their distance to aid in your aiming. Let the feast begin! Now where is that nudist island located..... I hope I got it!
