Yep there will be daily rewards, achievements, missions, also you can invite your friends through Facebook and get rewarded if they accept the invitation.
We are going to be uploading videos starting in August, showcasing the first 4 characters that will be in the game. We will be demonstrating all of their different attacks and abilities!
Please, don't make the Facebook thing something necessary for play the game. Is a pain in the ass when a developer do something like that. :/
It will not be a requirement, just an option to quickly register and have your friend list within the application.
Matchmaking will be very simple. You select the game mode, either Free-4-All or Team Brawl. You will automatically be matched with 3 random opponents (with similar experience level), or you will have the option of inviting friends to play. There will be no lobbies or rooms
You will be able to play 1v1 in the offline mode. All of our levels are designed for 4 characters, and 1v1 could throw off the balance of the gameplay.
Why I would like to play 1 vs. 1 offline?. That doesn't have sense; 1 vs. 1 must be played online. There's no problem if 1 vs. 1 is played in a level made for 4 players, did you ever play SSBMelee?, and btw if the balance get lost when is played 1 vs. 1, then the balance doesn't even exist (if the characters can't fight against each other 1 vs. 1, then is impossible think on balanced fights with 4 players) in the game! And if the trouble here is the level design, I have the solution for you guys. Just put in the game a level like one of this options: Battlefield https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs-C_C-7aHg Final Destination https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDS4Qq-bgjk
The balance of a game has no correlation to the number of characters that are playing the game. Certain characters have advantages over other characters. For example a faster character will have weaker attack strength (Mercy the Vampire), slower character will have more attack strength (Debo the Bigfoot). Gameplay balance will exist regardless of how many characters are playing. The arenas are designed to support 4 player battles. We will look into adding 1v1 option.
Exactly!, then why you say this?: "and 1v1 could throw off the balance of the characters and gameplay". The kind of balance that we are discussing here, is about characters under/overpowered. Really thanks for read me, I hope the 1 vs. 1 battles made it to the online games.
Hey guys we are launching a Kickstarter campaign next week. We are offering 50 spots for our Beta, soft launch as a reward for contributing to Fright Fight! Please support if you can. Thanks a lot
We are finishing up some critical tasks and are aiming to have a soft launch towards the end of August. The game will be available in Australia during the soft launch
We are looking to gather as much feedback as possible before releasing the game to the rest of the world
I look forward to backing this on Kickstarter. I might have missed it as a feature, but I'd like to request being able to battle bots instead of only other players. Is that planned?
