Yes, you will receive coins (virtual currency) and XP after every match that you play.

Depending on how you place in Free-4-All: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th you will receive some amount of coins. And in Team Brawl the winning team will get more coins than the losing team.

We have been getting a lot of questions/feedback for our free to play model.

    Here is some clarification.

The game is totally free, except for additional characters. Characters can be purchased with real money in the in-app store or with the coins (virtual currency) that will be obtained after every match played.

There are no IAPs for boosts, and there is no pay-to-win model. Everything can be achieved through playing the game.

    Music to my ears :)

I like it when devs can get their hard-earned reward and I can support them without having to pay because a silly timer or ridiculous difficulty - sounds like this game will please.

Duh it isn't easy, getting permission and licence is definitely hard but would probably pay off in the end result. The developer gets publicity and the games associated with the character gets publicity, and people can play their favorite characters. This easily could be a win for all if the negotiations can go smoothly. :D

    Gameplay looks nice.
I see an alien story line, health bars, and at least one charecter and a boss.
Tip: instead of "withstand him" change it to "stop him".

Yes, we will have a Ghost and Alien character coming in an update after the release.

We will be posting our pre-release trailer in the middle of August featuring the Werewolf, Grim Reaper, Vampire, and Bigfoot fighting, as well as all of our in-game features that have yet to be revealed.

with ios 7 launching around the same time, it would make sense to have controller support as apple will officially be including it! have a look at bladepad.com, it already supports some of the games i play regularly. as for future monsters... mummies, skeletons, frankenstein's monster, mutants, maybe spiders... man, this makes me think of the days i collected those old- "monsters in my pocket" figures! a smash game of that would be awesome!

seems pretty cool. However, I don't know if this is just me, but it looks like the gameplay is somewhat slow, and isn't as fast-paced as something like Super Smash Bros.

I have high hopes for this, and if this has iCade or MFi controller support I'll be an early adopter for sure! :D

Thanks for the feedback! Just to clarify this isn't smash bros for mobile. This game is completely independent of SSB.

The trailer that we posted is early Alpha gameplay footage. We needed to finish all 4 characters first before tuning the speed, animations. physics, etc. in order to make sure the game was properly balanced. Each character has certain advantages/disadvantages.

The final version of the game will be tuned and we will be posting an updated trailer sometime in August before the global release!
