There will be a block feature for defense and we are working on different gear that you will be able to customize your characters with. Gear will also have an effect on your character's abilities, not just appearance.
Thanks for the response, I'll def support the kick start. You know, two weeks ago I walked outside and did this: I smelt the fresh crisp air, witnessed the leafs changing all sorts of beautiful colors and realized its halloween time. That time of the year where you drink your apple cider , watch horror movies, and play those halloween classics on your device. I saw fright night on TA and instantly got some shivers. This WAS going to be an epic Halloween treat for all. It's sorta dissapointing we'll be getting "Fright" Night during Christmas. Boo
Thanks for the support. The Kickstarter should go live on Monday the 21st. Halloween would have been an awesome launch for Fright Fight but we do have other themes in the game besides horror. We have some steampunk and fantasy elements in the game that will make this a pretty diverse game. Stay tuned for our KS video coming soon!

Excited to back this project. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere if you are developing a single player campaign for Fright Fight or if the complete focus is on battles? Either way it looks great.
Thanks for the support! We just submitted to KickStarter for approval so hopefully the campaign will be live in the next 2-3 days. Part of our pledge goal is to raise the funds needed to implement AI Bots for offline gameplay. The core gameplay is definitely focused on online multiplayer but we think it is very important to have an offline mode where you guys will be able to play against bots. We will be posting our new gameplay trailer, as well as our KickStarter video in the coming days, so stay tuned for that.
I appreciate the effort for the one player game since I don't play multiplayer games that often! Just sayin'. By the way, this is the game I've been looking forward to playing more than any other right now! Can't wait for 'em to break this one out!

Outstanding, love it love it. Keep it up. I think the spins that the characters do need to go faster, it looks so slow when watching the video. The slow motion reply is awesome, hope that's in the game not just for the video. Also would be neat to maybe spectate people while waiting in a lobby? If you have lobbies. Was your release plan this October? If so, sorry you didn't make it.
