Hey all, Herenow is my app that I've been working on for about a month. http://herenow-app.com/ I wrote the first version as an iOS app in a few days, then ported it over to android. It's a hybrid app, so it's 80% native, with the messages displayed in a webview. It's been a great experience. Herenow lets you send and receive messages with anyone within 100 metres of your location. If no one is around, your message will be delivered to the next person to arrive at your location. It uses low-power wifi positioning to work out where you are, and uses the internet to send messages to other nearby users of the app. It does'nt use mesh networking or ibeacons (yet).
