Yup, just DL'ed Pages... my iPad 2 stated it's not for it but when entered the code on my desktop, it downloaded just fine.
Just updated to 5.1.1 anyone having trouble with the sponsor apps? I dl Text+ and not only no points. But also it keeps letting me dl it again like it doesn't know I dl it at all. Tried deleting cookies and nothing hope it's just a glitch.
Yes. I already have 1300 from when I was on 5.1 I installed the profile long ago and again 10 minutes ago after I deleted the cookies.
Success! Got Keynote (iPad 1) and Pages (iPad 3) via my US account! Finally. FreeMyApps.com is a great service! Recommended! Glad that I waited and saved for those apps! Although I was afraid that they would NEVER come back. (Waited for ten days or so.) Got an error message first on both iPad 1 and iPad 3 but it downloaded correctly after entering the Apple ID password (both apps on both devices, but when I downloaded it to the other device I used no FMA credits, naturally, just "Install" once more via App Store, will do that once more with iPhone 4 and once more with iPhone 3G). (Could be a story for an iOS App Store/FreeMyApps strategy game: Wait or "buy" for credits? Buy what app? Is it there or disappeared? Is it on sale or not? Will it be on sale tomorrow? Is it still there then? Did I miss a sponsor app?) ;-)
Anyone notice that you get different sponsor apps on different iDevices? For instance, I get Text+ listed as a sponsor app on my iPod Touch, but I don't get it on my iPhone. If they're differentiating by device, that doesn't make sense because I always see all the iPad only apps.
screw that Text+ i've installed it over 3 separate appearances on FMA and never received credit for any. they say you have to also create an account to get the credit. i did, but with a throwaway email address (not associated with my device or FMA account) and still did not get credit. i would suggest skipping Text+, unless you truly want to create an account with them....and even then maybe not. ymmv
I checked, it's the first time, it's even first on my cloud, It's categorized by date. I am not too worried since I got redeemed once 24 hours later, I am hoping 5.1.1 didn't mess with anything. Did any one dl a sponsor app today with the new 5.1.1 OS and got the points for it?
It seems that you only get the credits if you let the option for personalized ads at the end of the registration formular checked. It worked for me as soon as I left it checked...
