GE was really bad the last week, but it seems like they are getting on the ball once again, so I think it was just a hiccup, or at least I hope so. This week, they are approving everything in one day for me including reviews and redeems. But if you have problems, email them, they are usually good about getting back to you.
I emailed them last week and now. This is the second time it has happened. I install the game play it then review and if I like it I keep it if not delete it after review.
I kind of have this feeling that someone from GE is reading this thread. Everytime I have posted something, things have shown improvement. Maybe it is just coincidence, or maybe they actually have a real life and get busy once in a while, suffice to say, this week they are back to next day service for me. I have never had a problem with them, and maybe last week was just a bad week or they went on vacation or something, anyway, I am happy cause after I got all the backlog of points, I got ski safari and one tap hero. Both cool games.
Just today I redeemed Galaxy On Fire 2 SD on GE, and I got the code in about 3 minutes...I don't have massive problems if it can a send a code for an app that fast
I reviewed 3 apps on Gnome Escape today. I didn't recieve an email confirmation that the reviews had been checked, but when I logged on my PC, it showed they all were and I was credited with the points. Oh, I picked up 450 or so goomies yesterday for filling out a Zagat survey that literally only tool 3 minutes to complete. I think that is the REAL point of GE, it's a service for survey operators (let's just call them marketers). Most of those you can only complete on a PC, which is probably why they don't have a mobile-optimised version of their site. I literally went from 200 goomies to 1800 in one day. I just ignore the offers in the free gommies section below the 5 or so survey offers. Then I'll only do the surveys that only ask broad information. Now, with FAD, I almost think they intentionally don't want to let me get enough points to redeem Lili. They know I would give in...and they were right
ran into a new problem with some of the freeing apps after upgrading my iphone 4 to ios 6 and that is that now a lot of the games use a lot of memory so my safari app is cleared from the device memory, so suppose i went to download some app for FMA and i i run it.. the page loaded on safari is cleared and when i go back to receive my credits it would ask me to download again. i do receive the credits in the end.. but its just annoying, that's all. i know that after every ios update my device gets a little bit slower but hey, can't stay frozen in time. otherwise i would just stick to my nokia from 2002...
The surveys are in the free goomies list, at the very top. A lot of them will tell you they've already had enough participants, however. And you'll be disqualified if you don't fit into the target demographic. Oh, I checked out Appcasher...looks like another one for the unnaturally patient. 15000 points for an itunes GC, with apps giving 200 points each? I would never last. With FMA, which I got 30 bucks off of, I was already close to getting the giftcards before they were offered while I was saving for new apps to appear.
Yeah they are fast once again. That one bad week they probably went on vacation with the gnomenettes.
I think the points on AC are usually 250, GE 200, but nowadays AC points, some are far fewer. But they get tons of apps. One day, it seemed like They had 20 sponsor apps in one day. Got $10 in gcs in one day, you can't do that on the others especially FMA which will probably take one 4 months nowadays. On GE getting about 5 buck apps a month or $5.
In my opinion at the moment without any review the best is AC - if you have a new device like an ipad or iphone 4 you 'll give an itunes card in 2 days... FMA was good in the past now i don t find any new sponsor app - Another problem is the ios used if you have an iphone 3g you can't use this web app at the top because all new sponsor app require in the best case 4.3 or higher... Ufff any of you support my opinion?
Is anyone else having problems with redeeming their credits on FMA? The past few weeks I've been trying to redeem iTunes cards and it's been telling me something is wrong with my device on both iPhone 4S & iPhone 5. I did a clean wipe on both phones and installed separate profiles on both. They don't respond to tweets and have been responding with "we're looking into it" via email. I'd like to get my cards, be completely done with that service, and just stick to FAD & AC.
Yeah, for the last month or so, there has been almost no apps. It seems almost to a point for being abandonware, but who knows.
Yeah, saw someone else trying to warn people before, so it is concerning, why did you get suspended? I still haven't signed up for AR because of it. Is it worthwhile just to signup and get the first initial ton of points and get a $10 gc, and then kinda quit, or do you recommend altogether not to join it?
