Free app providers discussion and updates

When you search, and there are no results, it just goes to a white screen, like it's crashed. I wish they just had a list that we could look at. It makes it really hard to find the apps that we can buy with gnomes. Wish they would change that.

Good to hear. So far, gnome escape seems very legit to me, and they have handled my emails very fast, in fact, a lot of times within 5 minutes. So guess it was all a misunderstanding. Enjoy Kingdom rush, I got it a while ago, and it's a good game!

 

There are no spOnsor on FMA for almost a week now..or its just me..do you see any new sponsor?

 

Does Freemyapps.com only work on the US itunes store? I'm using the NZ store.

Also, are there other sites that do this, as I think I've seen some mentioned but am not sure what they are.

Yes, it only work in the Us App store
You can also use free app daily , which is the same as free my apps
Gnome escape is a little bit different, you need to download and review app to get points,

Im having trouble on Gnomeescape. Searching for Puzzle craft or one tap hero brings up a blank screen that wont load. Anything else seems to work.

So... what happened to Gnome Escape? I was really getting into that site.

 

Nothing? It's working for me.

 

They only add new free hits on Mondays and Thursdays.

 

How weird... all day it's been a godaddy page for me and won't work from any bookmarks, but now if I just type in the url it's fine. Well, thanks for telling me it's still there!

 

So... Managed to get enough points for a couple of games on FAD and then found out that the codes were restricted to the US iTunes Store only

Is there any way around this - I'm using the NZ Store.
Is there an easy way to switch stores so I can use my codes - will this require a new iTunes account? If not, will I be able to update them from the NZ Store?

And what's up with that thing that FAD installs into your iPod?

I haven't found a way past it...You will need a US iTunes account..just create one whilst redeeming your code like I did

 

Does that require me to log out of my NZ account? And do I need to open up the US store differently to how I open up the NZ one?

They had some issue and was down for a while. You can follow them on twitter or fb for latest updates.

 

I am having the same issue too, and I have 4250 points can't redeem on my iPhone. On my iPad it worked like a charm though...

 

Yea, you have to be out of your NZ account...If you want to access the US store through iTunes (PC), then go straight down to the bottom of iTunes, click on the flag in the bottom-right corner, then click US in the list of countries...hope this helps

 

Ahh, got it. Thanks for all the help! One last thing though - Am I able to have games from my US and NZ account on my iPod at the same time? And if so, I'll lhave to update them from the account which I downloaded them on, I won't be able to use the code on the US account and update from the NZ?
