Except a lot of us are having trouble getting them to award the apps, even when we have the points to buy it. :( My last cash out is with Mikey Hooks when it first came out.

Going by their twitter account, 6pm EDT yesterday.

Someone from FMA said, in this thread, that using VPN wasn't against any rules (way back). If that's changed, I hope someone from FMA will clarify it a bit

It was me who said that.Using VPN is accepted at FMA,BUT reporting issues with apps that don't give credit (which are visible only with VPN) is prohibited (you will get your account disabled.

TL;DR : Just don't report any issues with apps not crediting and you should be fine.

me. I had my devices banned again from redeeming any GC,and I sent them an email with the problem, this is what they told me :
''Beatrice Holdworth replied: Hello app freer, We are sorry for the delay, but we have fixed the technical issues with your account. You can now continue to discover great apps and redeem those rewards! The credits you have earned can now be used immediately. Thank you again for your support and patience! We appreciate it! Please note that usage of a VPN can result in your device being unsupported again. We will be unable to fix your account again if it is the result of VPN usage. Thank you for your understanding.''
    what do you think?

I think that you were at fault because complaimed about credit issues with apps which require VPN's.I use VPN from 2 years now,and had issues only twice (use proxy servers...never again).

Clarification! Proxy server /= VPN,proxy servers need to be set at WiFi settings, and they cause issues.

Beatrice said to me that it's OK to use VPN's but I should not contact them anymore about credit issues.

and if you have redeeming problems, what should you do?
PS: I did not complain about receiving credits from apps that require VPN's or any kind of apps ever, I just got an error when trying to redeem GC, twice...

Then there is no issue contacting them.Did you sent an email about a app not crediting?

Like I said using VPN is allowed, just reporting issues with apps which need VPN isn't)

Male sure you use VPN services like VPN OneClick,TunnelBear or Cloak.

EDIT : Try to redeem at lower points.Try not to reach high ammounts (eg.2000-3000)

I only saw people with high ammount to complain about redeeming issues.

Just read the edit part in my previous post.I saw on their FB page that people near 3000 points and above are the only ones that have this issue.

They only allow you to redeem one gift card every 24 hours. That's what they mentioned to me anyway.

the error I get when I try redeeming a GC is :freemyapps has encountered a problem with your device, please contact customer support.
the first time I got this error was 2 months ago, I sent them an email with the problem and they fixed it after a few weeks but they didn't mention anything about using VPN's, now I get the same error on my ipad mini
a week ago I tried redeeming from my iphone 4 and I got that error, sent them an email, they fixed the problem after a few days but they mentioned that warning about using VPN.
