I've noticed that too. What's going on? (Are they oerhauling their system of using UDIDs? And using emails instead?) (!)
I find myself laughing when I click freemyapps. There is no option to sign up... And nothing on the facebook too.
FMA has always been my free app service favorite. I'm pretty sure they'll fix the login/registration issue soon enough.
I think we won't be required to sign-up,and it's just a procedure for FMA staff.Dorgi stated that there will be some steps added at the device registration procedure,but I don't think that means we need a account. As for the lost points we need to talk with Dorgi again,because contacting the support and getting credited will take a while. P.S.The while UDID removal sh!t only applies for App Store apps,and FMA has nothing to do with it.
I assume this will be how it works in the future, as in after May 1st, when new apps and updates are no longer allowed to collect UUIDs. In the meantime, it recognizes my device and behaves the way it has in the past if I simply close FMA from the task bar and re-launch it.
Everything seems to be working after reinstalling the profile. But still didn't get the 80 points from the zombie game.
Hi all, I'll answer more specific questions in a bit. About Zombie, looks like a simple error in engineering Sometimes people forget that UDIDs are case sensitive... So big delay, but we have records of your clicks and launches so no worries, the credits should come (just might be a few more hours). *Sign in bug This one I just found out about too. Looks like one of our servers was redirecting people to our internal page for testing (which requires registered names and passwords). All fixed now, sorry! *Regarding UDIDs in the future For the meantime, we aren't looking at requiring any sort of registration or accounts outside of the normal profile install. You all won't notice any difference in the service, unless you haven't updated to iOS 6, in which case you will start seeing fewer offers. New users might have a slightly different initial experience, requiring certain apps be downloaded before others, but after that initial first download or two then things will appear just as normal. All still being actively worked on though.
