Good advice. Except this time, I wouldn't be surprised if there is no notice and they just disappear...
I would start using FMA again, but I have an addictive personality I don't feel like getting into the endless loop of constantly checking for new sponsor apps. As for GE, they sent me an email recently. While they didn't name the app in question for obvious reasons, they told me that one of my critical reviews was invaluable to the developer and that they were implementing some of my suggestions for improving the app. So you really CAN leave an honest review.
Yeah, yesterday they sent me a really friendly email replying to my review screenshot. It's good to read an email written by a real person.
fas sucks, time for everyone to use there points and never come back...i did camera+ read it has alot of problems with crashing and users losing there valuable pictures. there's better
FREE APP SLOTS: Some communication with your users, FAS, wouldn't hurt you know? We just want to know if you're going to put up iTunes GCs again. Or if we're just wasting our time (making you money while we're at it)?
It's not a new service but however, they've got a lot better in the past few weeks with more sponsor apps (but just like FMA, the apps will disappear in a jiffy,so you've gotta check back every now and then) and one other thing, they ran out of affordable GC's 2 weeks ago and they still haven't restocked'em yet. unless they're related to FAS in any way, you're good to go
Guys, a quick hack: you can easily make the iPhone 3GS able to run (and redeem) the new FTA game now available online. Along with many other apps / games requiring a front camera to install. Just add the "front-facing-camera" Boolean (with "YES") to system / library / coreservices / springboard.app / N88AP.plist / capabilities. Note: The file is called N88AP under 5.1.1. Under 6.1.2, its name might be different and there might be two plist files of the same format (a letter + some numbers). BTW, this plist file allows for, among other things, mirroring the screen on A4 devices over HDMI / VGA (or, for that matter, disabling automatic mirroring on A5+). I've posted some other hacks at http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=17010391&postcount=430 (MacRumors forum link). NOTE: I've tried hacking the pre-4.3 iPod touch 2G to install any current (4.3+) apps by both editing the capabilities file (N72AP) and /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion .plist. None of the current apps work, it seems, not even otherwise "simple" ones like iCab Mobile or any of the media players I've tested (GoodPlayer, AVPlayer, It's Playing, BUZZ Player.). That is, you can forget using your pre-2009 models to redeem FMA stuff.
Yeah happened to me too but I got the credit eventually, left the game open for about 2-3 minutes and got the credit, maybe it will work for you. Edit: I'm having trouble with the other game can't redeem it at all
Edit: Nevermind. I played a random opponent and that did the trick. Now I need to finish my match. Haha.
I had trouble with it too, but leaving it open for a few minutes, and restarting the iPad did the trick.
Game won't give me credits. Maybe because the game just gets stuck at a loading screen. Edit: Game now loaded but still no points. Will check back again later, maybe its just delayed.
