I would love to see more paid apps/songs to be added on FMA.
Btw I never got the song on my iDevice ;(
Does that mean the number of downloads for the song have been reached already?

For the new people, here's a summary of my experience so far on the iPad Mini:

    FreeMyApps (FMA)
    Used for: 3 months
    Total credits earned: 8,502
    Dollar Amount: $28.34
    Available Gift Cards: iTunes ($10, 15, 25, 50), Amazon ($1, 2, 5, 10, 25), Hulu (1 month subscription), and a few others.

    Pros
FMA remains one of the few providers I have managed to get anything from. They were the first service I used, and will always have a special place in my heart. You can expect to get ~$10 per month on an average. I've had no bad experiences with FMA at all; there are no bugs in the app itself, and all sponsored apps I have downloaded have given me credits. There were a couple of exceptions to this, but Dorgi (our resident FMA guy) and FMA customer service were quick to resolve them in no time. Once you have enough credits, redeeming is hassle-free and almost instantaneous.

    Cons
Most sponsored apps are gone in a jiffy, and I ended up missing quite a few. This means you have to keep checking often. It has come to the point where the first thing I do on my iPad every morning -- and continue to do throughout the day -- is to check for new sponsor apps on FMA. It has become an irrational obsession, and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy! If you have an addictive personality, I would advice staying away from FMA -- the few extra bucks aren't worth obsessing over.

    GnomeEscape (GE)
    Used for: 2 months
    Total gooms earned: 19,280
    Dollar Amount: $15.5
    Available Gift Cards: None

    Pros
GE has two things going for it. One, they are consistent. Every Monday and Thursday, you can be sure of earning 800 gooms, like clockwork (1600 per week = ~$1.25, sometimes more, but never less). In my two months of association with them, they have never missed once. The second is their unparalleled customer service (this thread is full of happy anecdotes about GE customer service). I've never actually spent any of my 19k gooms yet (saving for something big), but GE has built an aura of trust and almost warmth around them. I feel fine leaving my gooms around, comfortable in the knowledge that they are going to be around for a while, and my gooms are safe with them.

    Cons
There's some extra work involved. You need to download the app, and write a review on the App Store. I usually write 5-6 sentences of my honest opinion (critical reviews give you gooms just the same as positive ones), but I am sure reviews even shorter than that will earn you gooms. You have to be willing to write 8-10 short reviews per week. I was skeptical to begin with, and it took me a while to warm up to the idea, but now I have come around to it nicely. It takes up to 24 hours for the gooms to be credited to your account, so you have to be a little patient.

The other minor problem with GE is that they don't offer gift cards. This is not an issue if you only wish to purchase apps from the App Store, because GE has them all. But for those who wish to earn Amazon cards (or PayPal, or anything else), GE isn't the way to go.

    AppDog
    Used for: 2 weeks
    Total bones earned: 1,300
    Dollar Amount: $13
Available Gift Cards: Amazon, PayPal, Facebook

    Pros
I found AppDog relatively recently, and they started off with a bang. I got $10 in the first couple of days with minimal effort (you just download the sponsored apps, and open them to get bones). This was faster than even FMA during Christmas. Redeeming is insanely quick -- you get the email with the code almost even before you hit the redeem button.

    Cons
Being relatively new, they have yet to prove themselves in the long run. After the frantic first week of usage, sponsored apps have dried out completely, and I haven't gotten anything from them for the last ten days or so. Also, they don't have any iTunes cards yet, though looking at their facebook page, they might add them in the future.

These would be my top three services right now. A few others worth mentioning -- though I haven't managed to earn enough credits from any of them yet:
FreeAppParty-- I started using this one recently, and there's usually at least one app to download per day. You get ~150-200 Party Treats per app. 15,000 Party Treats equals $15 on iTunes. I've made 1800 Party Treats in a little over a week. There's a daily contest which you can enter for a chance to win $15 (I believe), but I don't fancy my chances much.

AppTrailers, FeaturePoints, AppNana: Too slow. FreeAppSlots: Had a promising start, but has fizzled out since.

It was a super small test, only maybe 3,000 people saw the offer. We are checking to make sure our system works as tracking for songs is a lot more complicated (hence the three day wait for credits). Hopefully we will get a progress update this week.

    cheers for answering my question!
i figured there was a limit to the copies to be downloaded.
i really hope fma will also do more paid apps/songs because i want to earn more points :)

btw: why is it harder to track songs? i remember downloading a reggea song from fma once and i got the points after playing the song :)

As others said, just re-install the certificate and things should come back. The only way to lose credits with our database is if you have had no activity for 60 days, so never worry if you see zero credits (even in this case it is easy for us to see how many you had and we can give them back to you). Usually a download of a sponsor app will make them come back.

It is harder to track songs because the only server that keeps direct track of song downloads is iTunes, and it is difficult to get communication with Apple. The first song test we actually paid out credits to everyone, even if they didn't download the song . Just had to eat the cost on our end for testing purposes. Now we are trying to test out tracking (you should get your credits this afternoon btw anyone that downloaded the killers song).

I hope FMA will hand out credits again to everyone for the killers song ;)
Atleast I don't have to miss the 300+ points than.
Also do you know if new paid apps will be added soon like that ninja app?
Need to spend some Itunes credits hehe

FreeAppSlots has just upped his game.
Last time I download 3 apps w/o getting any spin.
And last night I just refer my friend w/o spin also.
I guess FAS has changed side.
It's us doing something for them, for FREE. LOL

You shouldn't be that suprised because the people behind FreeAppDaily (RIP)
took over FAS and the same pattern is visable again.
No giftcards only games so my advice would be..don't hold on to your points for to long because I wouldn't be suprised if one day they will post up a notice saying that they are moving on again.
