Thanks a lot violentpunk and outrager for answering my questions. This helps a lot. I was on the fence about jailbreaking earlier, but violentpunk's post gives me the courage to go ahead with it (I do root all my Android devices). I'm sorry I didn't mean to start a debate on jail breaking.
900mb for update? F that I'm staying at 6.0. I have an 8gb itouch and love classic games. My ff1, ff2, ff3, ff4, secret of mana, chrono trigger, ff tactics would even fit with another gig of updates. I already only have 4gb of space after os stuff. I'm starting to get mad bro. Gonna start lifting again.
always go 64gb no matter how long you need to save sucks when u have no space for many of the cool apps/game/mp3/pics/movies jailbreak=emulators etc
If it is any consolation, I have a few devices and FMA is SO SLOW on new apps... and one would think when an app is available on 1 device it would be available on the others... but no. Once in a while you might get an app working for credit on all devices but overall just plain slow. One device has been stuck at 2200 for weeks. FMA support really does not provide much in the way of insight etc.
Depends on what your updating from. It's well over a gig on an iphone 4S going from 5.1.1; on my mini running 6.0.1 or whatever it was a delta update (patch) which took under 100 mbs OTA. I'm not updating the phone though. I like 5.X ios and, frankly, I can't spare any more room w/only 16GBs available total.
I saw the inflamatory post last night but didn't have the energy to reply. The guy was surely looking to be banned with his poor attitude and also his ignorant comments. No place for that on the forums - well done mods. We can now get back to the main thread subject and no more JB talk
It wasn't the jail breaking alone, it was the condescending attitude looking to start a fight, and homophobic comments. Overall unnecessary and unwelcome posts which TA does not condone. Incidentally , back on topic, I got 4 belated spins from FAS this morning from an app I downloaded yesterday afternoon. First app I have been able to download from them for a week or so, only go about 500 points though. Need 150 points on FMA to get a $10 GC but no new apps # GE is the best IMO, always get your points and new apps every week.
