Yeah...don't remind me. Now that I have 520k points, I have to figure out if it's worth trying to save up to get a device. I would have had probably 900k points if I hadn't been spending them as I went along. Assuming the odds are the same for everyone and they aren't rigged, I should probably just grab a 50 dollar itunes card. The chances of hitting half a million twice have to be low. Considerin I've alreay gotten Ravenmark, 15 dollars in iTunes credit, 10 bucks amazon (just the other day, grrr...I thought I wasn't going to get any spins anymore), Bastion, and Vice City... Not too shabby. Of course with all the new users and less competion now that FAD is gone, the point rate will be slowing down. I'll put it to a vote: should I grab a 50 dollar itunes card (on my ipad I can grab a 10 buck amazon card), or hold out? BTW, I have 98 bucks in my itunes account right now.
You might as well buy an amazon card. Get any new game on Xbox/PC/ps3. Assuming you don't have to pay the ridiculously priced shipping (well its $27 for the best here in Australia).
SAVE THEM. You might as well as be lucky again. And, if you aren't, I don't believe you can't save 1.5mil credits in one year. I saved 390k (with a 100k spin) in just under two months. That is a lot. I invite you to do the same, specially considering you have alternatives to get the GCs.
Guys I have a quick question. I want to restore my iPod Touch for several reasons, will I lose all my Freemyapps/freappslots points? Or when I enroll it again will they be back? I'm asking as I'm close to another gift card on both and I wouldn't want to lose it!
With FreeMyApps you will be fine as your credits are tied to your device. When you come back to FMA after a reset in you will be at zero and have to enroll again, but after you perform an action (download) they should all reappear. The same thing happens if you clear your cookies. Not sure how FreeAppSlots handles that though.
Nope. Just grabbed a 50 dollar itunes card thatnks to one 500000k point spin though. I decided not to wait; the chances of me ever getting the 1 million!!! more it would take to get an idevice are exceedingly rare. Maybe if I had save up all my points from the beginning. Well, I sill have 80k or so left, and about 100k on my other device. I should probably start getting Amazon credit now. I still have an unredeemed 50 itunes gc from christmas. Oh, and Amazon has itunes cards again.
Too late. 500-600k is one thing. 1.5 million is the cheapest device (ipod touch). If there were still daily spins I would have held off. I should have gotten Amazon cards and used them to buy itunes cards, though, since Amazon has them back in stock. Besides, I might go ape**** and buy a 50 dollar recording studio app.
