They have new apps to review every Monday and Thursday (and possibly some apps that give +150pt for just downloading, but that's been slowing down recently). On the Free Hits section there are like 3 buttons next to each app and it tells you if you'll get +150pt for downloading (they email you a link and you click it to get it) or +200pt for reviewing. You can't just download any app and get points. From my experience, you'll only get points for reviewing an app if you click the link they e-mail you to download it. If you don't get an email for that app (and click the link) you won't get points for the review. I've only not received an email for 1 app after a few months of use so it might have just been some weird glitch.
No. If you see 150 pts, it's a paid app. The email you recieve will send you to the appstore with a redeem code. Those apps you get 150+200 for a review.
If you ever don't get points, email them a screenshot of your review and they will credit you. Happened to me the other day. And, as I said, they sent me 2 promocodes for my trouble. Not that it was any, they emailed me back in.a couple hours.
yeah GE is sweet. get 150 when there is a download, and get 200 points to review the download too + other review apps avail. gain points fast, and you can get almost any $1 game for free on itunes. Fun if you have a 2nd device (wife account) and do a 2nd review/downloads for double the stuff I got all the PlayDek games for free this weekend thanks to GE some i'm a happy customer. just paid $3 for ipas then.
I think it's a bit unfair to compare to a job. Yes, you're getting paid peanuts, but there's no expectation, minimum commitment etc. You're bored and about to buy yet another 99c game, then you realise you've got 30 minutes with nothing to do so earn it on GE instead and save your dollar. Yes, even McDonalds would've paid me more, but I can't just teleport there when the mood takes me, give them half an hour of my time, then quit can I?
...it's also good for the self-employed like myself. My schedule is very erratic, so I often have free time to goof off. Plus, you'de have to pay me 60k a year to work in the fast food industry. I worked at a Checkers for all of 4 days. It's a soul killer.

May be they like it this way(not giving away free spins every day), and yes I've lost a lot of spins for no reason, but they never failed to add spins for my downloads. Anyway, can somebody tell me something about that "sweepstakes" app.
