    They've been doing that forever.

Was going to save for a GC on FAS, but I wanted Ravensword.

A 6.99 game for 63,000 points. Since Amazon GC's are, what, 100,000 for 10 bucks and itunes cards carry a premium, you could say 10,000 points = 1 buck. So, not a bad deal on Rqvensword. Also grabbed Knights of Pen and Paper for 13,000.

    I like FAS's selection. It's eclectic.

  2. Yo Greyskull!

If you want apps, do you use Gnome escape? If you don't mind doing reviews, you can pretty much pick any app you want. Actually lately, it has become the most reliable service. Kind of surprised no one has been taking about GE lately. It has a lot of sponsors, and seems very consistant on the rate of redeemed apps, and has been very reliable in these rocky times.

I used it a couple of times, but they used to give you paid apps for free (I got Pebble and other one) and they would even give you credits for downloading them. I don't believe they do that anymore.

FAS are giving away an ipad mini (check their facebook page), it could be your ipad mini that they're giving away:(:(:(

    just saying!

  5. Yeah, GE doesn't do the free paid apps for points anymore. Too bad, it was great getting great apps for free like Modern Combat 3, and getting free points too. Too bad, but on the flip side, they did add almost every app on the appstore to their redeem section. Great place to get one or two apps you really want every week.

Posting itunes reviews might be a grind for some, but for me, its much like coming to this board, trying an app, and posting a short note about it. Plus, they don't seem to mind negative reviews, so seems fair. Not a huge money getter like AC was in its prime, but it's steady and great to get apps that you totally want.

I just tried it, like you said it's a grind. Plus, I check to see how much gnome needed for Anomaly:Korea and it was 3765:eek: Not worth it.
I will stick with FAS for now:D

They have been giving away iPad minis for the last seven weeks my friend.

  8. Hey! My long lost friend. Yeah, it can kind of get to be a grind if you do a lot of apps at once. Usually a buck app is like 1200 points, so you can get about 1 1/2 buck apps a week. i think anomaly is a $3 game, so that's why it's got a. Higher price tag.

I got a tennis injury this week, so now my arm is kind of hard to move, so let's go out and play soccer! Hehe :)

I used to be all over gnome escape, but I can't really be bothered with it now....If you don't mind providing personal info (not comprehensive info about you, just typical focus group material), you can get lots of gnomies by filling out the surveys. Problem is you probably won't qualify for many of 'em.

Gnome Escape is currently my go to service. They add new apps every Monday and Thursday and you can get enough for a 99 cent app with about 6 app reviews, something that takes roughly 20 minutes. Also, I can easily get gnomies with the things that aren't surveys, but you still visit sites and download software. I've tried doing like 20 surveys and never qualified. :/

The reviews have gotten better I do 4 Monday get 800 the following night the later being the next mourning same for Thursday. I wouldn't get a game on the weekends because that's the only day they get slow.

You sign up with your Apple ID and the nickname you use to review apps, so they can go look for your review.

DON'T DL the software...it's mostly malware, imo. They seem to refresh the survey list every night. Sure, I've only qualified for a few, but I got a lot of points from them. They DON'T work on ios, BTW.

Yea the surveys are malware the ones that did work for touch now I'm getting junk mail galore. I just use the site for getting gnomes.

  19. Yeah, and GE had been pretty prompt lately about giving points, usually by the following day. I gotta try a survey though, never have. Been getting 1 or 2 buck brand new apps off of GE every week. Cool way to stay in the TA new release scene without really worrying about early adopter blues since it is kind of free.

  20. Okay, thanks, then I won't bother doing the surveys. :)
