Thanks. Took a while to get together! Thanks to everyone here for all the support and impressive patience. Gotta get the web page sorted now!
It's not malice, or laziness, I assure you. If you watch the video, you'll see the spacial relationship between Inco (the little guy), Helios (the sun) and the landscape is really quite specific. If you shrink this down to an iPhone-sized screen, Inco will look miniscule, and you'll always be clicking on the wrong thing. Unfortunately, fingers don't get proportionally smaller with screen-size. Now, there are ways around all these things, but many of them potentially ruin the sense of scale and open-ness in the game. If there's enough call for it, and the game's a hit on iPad, I'll almost certainly have a go, but it's not going to be easy! Imagine someone watching Avatar on their iPhone. They'd complain it was too hard to tell what was going on in the action sequences, and that it looked like a weird episode of The Smurfs.
Thanks for the enthusiasm. At the moment, it's pretty much iPad exclusive. While Inco on Android isn't out of the realms of possibility, it's not going to happen any time soon.
This is the Vimeo version, at higher res. Of course, it may be pulled down at any time, but seeing as Fluttermind is just me, I'm hoping they'll show some leniency.
For those who care, Incoboto was submitted just a few moments ago. For those of you who have been waiting for so long, I thank you for your patience.
I will be first in line. Oh, by the way, can you get your twitter thingummy bob on your website fixed. I was going to tweet whatever grandiose wittering regarding Inco you wanted me to but it didn't work. Mike
Sad this isn't coming to iPhone, Flaboo is still in my regular rotation of games. Maybe I'll just watch all the reviews of incoboto on youtube when it hits and play it vicariously through video..
