Why not add IAP for those who want them? It's a win-win for everyone as if you don't want them, you don't get them.
I think if IAPs are added to make it easier, the perception will be that it was made more difficult to get people to pay for the easier option.
I don't think anyone is really upset about the floppy disk system, that's more of a personal opinion kinda thing. The problem is that the game basically takes your phone away while you play. Every time you take a call, check an email, answer a text, look something up online, etc, you're taking a chance that you'll lose all of your progress. An analogous situation would be if you were playing this on PS4 and there was a random chance the system would freeze every time you paused. I don't see how anyone can defend that. Again, what's the issue with having a one time quicksave option? It couldn't be used to save scum or take away any of the tension from dying, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be included.
I think one way to resolve this saving issue, is to set up some sort of autosave upon entering a new room, or perhaps figuring out a quick save option that only works once every hour? That way the game retains its challenge and nobody is using it excessively to speed through the game without risk.
Dark Souls,Dark Souls 2,and also The First Demon Soul Are a lot more Challenging, not even to compare, i think how can You play a Game Like Forgotten Memories maybe at The Bus Stop For 5 minutes? During Day,with The Sun? This It's a Game to play possibly at night,or lights out,if You want The real experience, this It's My opinion..
Hell yeah! This is a "play before bed" kind of game! I just started playing with my headphones, in the dark, in bed. Then I see the splash screen instructing me to do just that! lol
OK, I understand that some may not like the save system but aside from that, what is the game like? Are most of you guys liking this game. Which is creepier this game or lost within? Thanks for the impressions.
If You read The description of The App,this It's a Premium Game,The devs meed to be Appreciated For this, cause it's a risk, and it say"we don't Sell any IAP,You do everything on you're Own,learn instead The meccanism of The Game and where The charged Flashlight station are..
This game has better lighting effects than Lost Within but neither game really has creepy looking monsters. Lost Within offers more monster variety and a deeper combat system because of the ability to craft weapons.
I only had a chance to play up until the first save point for now. The movement/camera made me a bit dizzy at first, but I think I'm getting used to it. Graphics look great (played on my iPad Air 2 so far) and I love the voice acting. But the lack of saving regularly (like when changing rooms, etc), definitely stresses me out more than anything. I'm definitely one of those people who likes to save a lot and hates losing progress without a really good reason.
Many apologies if this has been posted below but I'm still kind of on the fence about this because of the save system so a quick question please - what is the kind of average time you're looking at playing between possible save points? My time spent gaming is generally in small(ish) bursts so while I'm happy with a game that challenges me I don't want one that forces me to play for longer than I can or want to purely because I can't find anywhere to save.
I found two save points about 20 minutes apart? You really should take advantage of this game though, regardless of what you think about the saves. It really is top quality!
How difficult is this game? I bought Lost Within which I liked, but the AppStore description states it's a "challenging game". I generally suck at games like first person shooters, platform games and 3rd person action games on touch screens and don't want to play something frustrating!
