hmm, about the last point in changes, make the melee weapon hit in wider range?how wider its gonna be tato? because if you put too many gap than before then it will become too easy to kill the enemies, especially the mannequin.
It will be for the easy mode, yeah is not highlighted in the todo but that's for the easy mode. Normal and Harder modes won't get any change in difficulty.
I dont think you should do that (widening the attack hitbox). If a player plays easy first, then plays normal, they will notice the difference and cry. They will complain without wanting to hear the reasoning behind it. There might be something else you can do to balance it out, but i really think widening the hitbox wont help and may even do more harm in the long run. And the worst part is they blame game design if they cant play it right. This has been a trend in MH threads everywhere to. I really dont get most gamers who only button mash. In this game, button mashing is severely punished, and that goes to fantastic games like MHFU or Implosion (to a certain extent) as well.
agreed with EP on this. its just wont make any sense to wider the range attack since i think the range is totally fine. the only thing you should change is the calibration of the crosshair(on melee combat). on easy mode keep the save station exist but doubled the floppy, that will keep initial purposed of this game but more tolerable for the casual player. make the flashlight extremely longer(like it will last for 30minutes) but dont take away the charging station(easy mode). easier enemies are welcome on easy mode. and again, please do not attempt to make any changes on normal mode(except for bug fix and memory improvement)
Got to the part where you fight the singing ghost or whatever it is, then the game glitched and I'm unable to attack at all (weapon equipped yet tapping does nothing, but can still run)... And due to this of course my character got killed. The last save point was half an hr away... How in the world did gamebreaking bugs like these not get noticed? The ambition to copy the original Resident Evil's ink ribbon save system is admirable but it only works if your game plays smoothly without bugs or the limitations of a phone. Things like bugs or crashes that forces you to repeat the last half hr might be tolerable the first few times but eventually are the reasons people uninstall games and stop being interested.
On Easy Mode Or Normal Mode? This Not Happen To Me in Both Mode iPhone 6 plus iOS 8.3 Spoiler: Spoiler You don't have to fight The shadow girl(this it's apply to all little girls shadow enemy that sing)read on you're lift The rules,You had to play Stealth, sneaky, just turn "off"The Flashlight,Move Rose really slow,Stay on The Right side, take The Crank Handle and turn back,You don't have to fight them, she writing on The blackboard "don't kill me".
I didn't realize until watching my video of that part that the shadow grabbing onto me and/or the iPhone shaking caused me to go from combat mode to running mode without me changing it. So I, too, kept tapping, trying to attack, and nothing happened. Still not sure if that's a bug or a feature, but it's where I gave up.
Ok well if you're not supposed to kill her then belay what I said then about this being a bug. Still it's kind of hard to see the blackboard at that distance, and also it's easy to assume you're supposed to kill all the spirits since there was a hostile spirit-like enemy right before I got to this part. I noticed that it MIGHT have switched me from combat to running mode, which is why I even went to the menu, made sure weapon is equipped, and clicked the target button multiple times, but still cannot attack. Maybe you're not supposed to attack at all? Anyway this part was really confusing and cost me half an hour of progress. Also, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in this thread that the "shake device like madman to free yourself" mechanic was going to be removed? Is this for future patches or completely scratched? This shaking thing is still really annoying.
Please Use Spoiler Tag like Me!!.there Users that don't want spoiler, they want find this surprises from themselves..Yes,Shake Device will be removed in upcoming update with a Tap both side of the screen. Spoiler: Spoiler are you serious? it's difficult to see the blackboard? You guys need to play the game without lights, like you don't see the "Game Rules"? And I tell you, only with Little Shadow Girls it's not be meant to fight, and play Stealth. But you can avoid every other normal shadows enemies by turn off the torch and then go past, with the Mannequines And Dolls you can Run away. I'm able to finish the entire game without a single fight(except the Final Boss Fight)that can't be avoided.
Game is beginning to grow on me, early on - trying to figure out what to do with lobotomy ice pic of whatever it's called - however, I honestly think this game would be greatly improved with some basic map system a la RE1 or if you really wanted to nail it out park, add map system similar to Silent Hill, whereas the characters actually makes notations (of broken doors for example) directly on the map.
If you find Yourself Really in Stuck with Lobotomy Ice Pick, ask me.I don't feel the need of a Map,as you say,RE 1 as a Map,but Cause it's Lot more Bigger,Mansion,Corridors,Tunnels,Labs,etc..
This week update integrates new improvements to the combat system including a strange bug fix that makes the character freeze sometimes when you get hit by an enemy while hitting your melee. The normal and hard modes will include new items to find. We are kinda making the normal mode less harder and accessible and the hard mode well.. really challenging. The easy mode will remain easy. There's new save stations to the easy and normal modes. I'll post the entire list of changes as soon as the update is live on the store.
When is the update coming, tonight? Really enjoying the game now that I've got the hand of it. The graphics and atmosphere are the best I've ever seen. Console quality game for sure.
I'm not quite sure. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow. PS: Really glad you are enjoying the game. This week new game mode will keep you busy for a while!
I'm glad you don't feel like a map would help, but I'm speaking more so from a "where have I gone/where haven't I gone" perspective - for all I know I've likely missed an entire room as I just run up and down hallways foolishly trying to remember what each room had what, etc. I honestly think the game would be improved with this added functionality and sure RE1 had a much bigger area overall, but you still had a map for each individual area, no? Also am I going to find this code to unlock the safe w shotgun on some document or is it some super obscure thing I'm supposed to realize on my own? Suddenly realize how salty my post sounds, but I am actually enjoying my time with it (I bought at launch) now that I've gotten around to actually playing it. P.s. still unsure what to do w ice pick but feel lame asking for the straight up answer - can you just point he in right direction?
Spoiler! An Hint: Spoiler lobotomic ice pick,go into Dr.Walton Room once You had The key For The Stockroom code: there an Hint on Third Floor Cell Block Six Sisters Room
