This sums up EXACTLY my experience with the game too. RE always had a save point before boss fights etc, so dying didn't feel unfair. This is what FM needs to truly become a 5 star game: a few more computers scattered around, especially before the harder encounters (like the shadow girl). Do not ditch the floppy disc thing entirely, because it gives players an excuse to explore the environment more and appreciate the graphics. Easy mode should have more discs lying around, normal mode less, etc.
It's already been stated in the thread that easy mode will be updated to auto save every time you enter a corridor. I think that should alleviate any and all present and future issues people are having with the save system.
If I remember correctly the original Resident Evil had a total of 8 save locations throughout the entire game. I remember running back and forth and strategizing how I saved and when. Sometime saving before a boss fight involved running back several corridors then running back the way I just came. Also that one door would break after so many uses causing you to take the long way for the remainder of the game making you run upstairs then downstairs on that side of the mansion for that save location, or running back to the other side of the mansion. The save locations were never conveniently placed. It seemed that saves were more frequent because you had to keep going to the box to put in and take out items because of having a limited inventory space. Locations are: 3 in the mansion 2 in the residence 2 in the courtyard 1 laboratory
Thanks, Resident Evil is probably my favorite game of all time. I have also played it more times then I can remember and had my speed runs down to like 3 hours or so by the time I stop playing it.
Yep,You remember it well.i play it so many time,And now i'm in,with The HD Remaster PS4 Version, try to beat The Game using only The knife.Forgotten Memories has remind me The Old Great days Like no others.
It's Possible, yes. But Did You Mean in Forgotten Memories? In Forgotten Memories I Already Beat The Game Using only The Knife. In RE HD it's possible,But i haven't finish,i do that cause The Trophy.. An Advice: play on easy, there a new Difficulty setting in RE HD, That it's More Easy,i Think that Trophy can be earned only play in that way..12 stabbed and You kill The Plant..
Kudos to oldsnake for actually talking about something else in this thread and not the ****ing review.
Yeah,I'm Really Happy To Talk About The Game Itself, and i Ask eveyone to Do The Same Without Enter in The Same Question Again, then again and Again, there something else To Talk About,an Update Maybe? And Future Content? Give Me An Hell Yeah!!
Sorry to not bring up save issues like everyone wants to talk about... Jokes. Where does this game fit in story wise? I remember a few years back reading that it is somewhere in the middle. If this one is "2nd" in the bigger story then everyone who has finished the game can guess what the "3rd" installment will be but what about the "1st"? Do we go back in time and play as the nurse? Thoughts anyone?
How does one play a horror game and not expect to die? Where's the logic in that? I saw someone complains about that
lets say he's a monster in gaming that never sleeps and he's thumb finger is moving like a snake, lol jk its definitely a glitch, a nasty one i assume. but we never encountered one in beta testing. perhaps tato can helped you answer about this problem.
I'm glad iOS support isn't being dropped. I was worried that all of the negativity was winning out. Of course, I absolutely love the game, and I'll support the devs no matter what. Keep it up, guys!
:/ just to be more specific it was the floppy disc being held by the mannequin when you immediately enter the red-curtain maze
That's a bug that slipped under radar in last patch but it's now fixed. You have either the option to look for more floppies scattered around or play the game in Easy mode. Btw, last week patch is under review, it should be available by tomorrow i guess.
This is not exactly the whole list of changes (I need to log to iTunes to check it out) but here is from our repository branch, it's a sort of to-do list for our developers: Others small improvements and additions not highlighted in the image also landed on that update. Regards,
