Man im finding that part with the music box and shaking my ipad difficult to get free from the clutches of that shadow demon thing... Im only on normal and its my sixth try! Cant wait tell full controller support is added, any tips for killing the shadow demon thing peeps?
I don't know this would help you but I played that part on easy and used up all of 5 small medkits in the item box, and I successfully killed the demon and also the surrounding 2 mannequins. I was always killed by additional enemies while progressing, and forced play continue-game many times, and I realised that when I continue, i.e.die and restart from a saving point, health point recovers to full, and repeating collecting medkits and saving and being killed many times saves use of medkits. So I had 5 medkits when I came across the group of additional unknown, tougher enemies. I don't know this tip works on normal though.
Anyone else having trouble picking up the final save disk? I collect it but it doesn't show in my items.. Great game though, good to finally play after years of following the development. Scares the crap out of me.
Spoiler In the room with the music box there is a big board with a child's writing. The description means that You can avoid those shadow ghosts by using the sneak mode- just turn the flashlight off and walk carefully behind them(don't run). However if U R still interested in killing those ghosts or other enemies with a melee weapon, I'm going to record some tutorial videos very soon. I will post the link here.
I'm also interested in your videos, because available walkthrough videos on internet ended at the point of entering cells at 3rd floor and not yet including the ghost scene, that's the reason why I struggled to fight againt them in spite of I was always killed by newly encounted enemies and I was tired of everything. I tried to avoid walking deep into other rooms after finished treasure box pazzle, because I want to save safely ASAP, so I haven't thought I would have trouble just after entering that anothe room,checking that Spoiler chair and retreating while I was searching a nearest save point. I didn't want to play "continue" again, so I have to fight against the ghost no matter what it takes. After reading that notice boead, Spoiler I kept walking slowly all the way but suddenly she began to attack me, yes, I kept the flashlight on, I didn't understand sneak means about flashlight, but during the fight, accidentally flashlight was turned off but I was still kept being attacked! So I didn't recognized even after the fight, that notice board was reffering to the flashlight thing.
You don't have to fight Him,just read The Game rules,turn The Torch off,and play stealth,go slow,and take that object..he never see You...
No problem at all with last Floppy disk(Normal Mode) i don't play on easy,i've only try One time just to Look at a Crash report from an User..
Why don't costumes stay unlocked? Why can't I select from the costumes I found in a previous play through? Sheesh!
umm, i have a problem with this too, also you cant choose which costume you wanted to even if you have found it and it makes you go back to the previous place you found it to change to the desire one.
Bro,this it's like it's mean to be,you need to go in both place for change Costumes For Rose...maybe it's cause are in place where aren't enemy..or,you can use developer Console Commands,and have them from start..ah,one thing,I've played an easy run for search a crash report from an user,and you've reason,there a bug in stamina,after a 3 hit Pipe combo,Rose it's exhausted..it's more difficult in this way than Normal mode..instead of more stamina(and less fatigue) it's the exact contrary...

I think I will only record tutorials that will explain how to use melee weapons against different enemies ( I think there are already too many walktrough videos on youtube) because this is what ppl are looking for. Well.. It's called the AI. The enemy already knew U were there. And with the flashlight turned on the enemy still notices there is someone sneaking behind. I think it should be obvious... Btw. You can try to sneak IN FRONT of the enemy with ur flashlight turned off and it will not work. you will be attacked eventually. This is what I like about this game.
That would explain a lot. I thought she was supposed to have more stamina in easy mode, but instead she got tired so fast.
Yeah,that happen only on Melee fight,basically 3 hit combo exausted Rose,and for restore all stamina take a while,so,if you fight the Final boss Fight with the pipe,or with Spiked Bat,you find that after the first 3 shots,Then she not able to react well,so it's better use Big Shooting Weapons.. Instead she can run constantly for a lot with lot more stamina than in normal mode..

Sure,this it's how it's mean to be played..Torch off,move really slow,and grab the object by stay on right side..they see you only if you use the torch..or if you do lot of rumors..
