its going to be the best of the year, the only rival might be implosion .lol all depends on the further updates.
Guys, we are making weekly updates. So any issue or request you got, please send them over. They will get improved/fixed every week!
As of now, Forgotten Memories still being featured by Apple in various categories (136 Homes, around 2000 iTunes features, Best new games, exclusive iOS games, etc) daily! And is selling well, which means = we'll keep updating it and add more stuff every week to keep the game selling. Regards,
Is the game bigger after the update? I deleted it so I could install the update and I don't have enough room. Edit: Never mind, just managed to get it in.
It's ~940MBs to download and around ~1.3GB on disk. It will get a little bigger with Survival and Stalker modes next month but not that much.
Not that much compared to other markets. it's always best to summarize as Asian continent but here is only for Hong Kong: As of now, the highest ratings comes from Asian countries (5 stars overall).
Really loving the new update. It's quite an improvement, and I'm totally looking forward to new stuff. FM is now up there in my top five iOS games! The only minor gripe I have is the motion blur. I know people hate it, but I (sorta) like it in a way if it's used right. But the setting in FM is a bit too disorienting, I was expecting the more general motion blur you find in video games. But that's okay.
We are separating options menu (GAME, GRAPHICS, SOUND) in next week version. You will be able to set more graphic stuff such as the intensity of some visual effects. Would you like a slider to change the blur intensity? Cheers,
Man, I would be looking forward to that. Yeah, it would be nice to have a slider, but it's totally up to you if it fits your schedule. I STILL LOVE THE GAME!
Definitely enjoying the easy mode more. I managed to get farther (and save!). Still a few issues with the controls. Why does Rose swing her pipe so clumsily? Like, she throws her whole body downward just to swing a pipe? It feels awkward. I got to the shaking part and it made no sense to me because if I shook my iPhone, I couldn't see what the result was. I ended up ignoring the instructions and just attacking with my pipe. Took care of the situation this time, but will that be ok next time? Really don't understand what the shaking does, other than keep me from watching the screen. I still find the camera odd at times, especially when Rose ends up blocking my whole view. Have you considered a first-person view? The item interactions are also still troublesome. Less so with the unlimited flashlight battery, but I still spend time sort of pixel hunting for the exclamation points. I also need to get really close to a door to be able to interact with it. Close to the point that my flashlight doesn't shine anymore. Perhaps extend the distance from which you can open a door? Still, thanks for the update. I feel like I actually have a chance of completing the game now. Edit: Any chance we could get multiple save slots and/or iCloud?
i guess it is because in asian region we were grown up with those old horror games make by japanese companies like capcom's bio hazard sequels. we miss these style of horror games a lot. just like the ftp gams are much more popular in western regoins than in asian countries.
I think it would be a good idea to add a slider for resolution in the graphics options, so lower end devices can play with smoother frame rates or more graphics effects or both depending on how much you lower the resolution and depending on the processor.
I've been thinking in completely remove the shake and replace by a quick touch event (the faster you touch the faster you'll push the enemy). To be honest, I never was fan of shaking (specially if it can detract from seeing whats happening in the game). What do you guys think?
You are right about that. I'm right now studying demographics and collecting analysis data on every region. It's good to know that people still love old school games! Regards
