This is how our entire level design is put out. You overcome challenges but get rewarded if you survive!
Just finished this one and... I didn't enjoy myself as much as i believe i should have. And i chalk it all up to the lack of tutorials on important talking points. Also, i think the scariest part of the game was the possibility of getting a phone call and losing all progress. Is it scary and freaky and good looking and sounding? ABSOLUTELY! Am i happy with my purchase? Think so. I'd give the game in it's current iteration a 3/5. But that's just me.
I found three my first playthrough: pipe, revolver, and a shotgun Upon beginning a new game my first weapon was a Spoiler baseball bat with nails attached
did you change our current game mode by adding more floppy disk tato? more flashlight batre are welcome but more floppy disk?it will ruin the whole experience as it was and im strongly against it. im sorry but you already put an easy mode on the next update so why change the current mode, well i hope i was wrong. even longer battery life already ruin the gameplay, where the feeling of running out of batre while exploring the area and you have to rush find the nearest station, while when you comeback to the previous area there is an unexpected behaviour from the enemies are waiting, and thats what "survival" are meant to be. OR, ok i see you put it as normal mode, but please add our current game mode as "hardcore mode" and leave it as it was untouched.
I very much welcome the easy mode, now just add the original difficulty as hard difficulty for those willing to take the challenge. You can also name it "nightmare" or something like that, but I don't think it is as hard as others games' "nightmare" difficulty levels. The problem for me never was the difficulty itself, just that in daylight situations you were not able to save battery light on dimly lit areas for the pitch dark ones.
The normal mode is what you currently have. The easy mode is well, easier (unlimited flashlight, unlimited saves, more ammo, etc). My bad, that was a mistake im going to fix it in the text.
The only thing there was needed It's less shake The device while grabbed,as You know,It's more Longer only in this build(The Launch One)
Is this game going to be reviewed at any point? It's kind of weird I don't understand what's going on, they didn't review that other horror game either.
The update sounds great, grateful for that. Looking forward to playing this much more once the update arrives Thanks
I believe they are waiting for the game to be updated this week. And am fine with that, they will be able to play in all game modes.
@ip4weather, There's a bug with total runtime, it already got fixed and will be available in Thursday update.
I'm so looking forward to this update. I decided to wait for Thursday's update anyway, just because the easy mode sounds great and I'm sure it'll fits my casual gaming skills much better. Hope everything will go smoothly and there's no additional delay by Apple. Fingers crossed!
Hey Tato - I wanted to apologize for the rashness of my rants earlier. It wasn't fair of me to deride your work that way. I've spent some more time with the game and am actually finding it much easier now. No hard feelings (hopefully).
