Personally speaking, I have a short attention span for important locations for things such as puzzles or locked doors. With the Silent Hill games, the maps added a gauge of progression, where you could see unvisited or previously inaccessible areas. I've been occasionally fumbling around in the dark too when the games flashlight ran out, so to know where a charging station is would be helpful, though not a real problem. I think, if people could see how far they are from a "save computer", it'd put a few minds at ease if they're playing on a train or bus.
I game exclusively on PC and can easily spot framedrops, this game isn't even a smooth 30 never mind 60,I only got this game on ios because tatoforever said it was 60fps,Otherwise I would've waited for the PC version. I understand that it's not a big deal for many but it is to me.
You know, when I played System Shock back in the days, I used square paper to draw the map. I have to admit it was almost 20 years ago and games didn't have maps in general, but I managed to play it through. Where there's a will there's a way.. even though, drawing a map in the dark room with all the lights off seems kinda controversial
Many people have asked for maps already, so I'd say yes, we do need them. I'm not sure what directions you're talking about. I haven't seen anything that looks like directions. I'm considering waiting until the new update with longer battery life is out, because it sounds like we need to explore every inch despite not having enough light to do so. The exclamation points are still a huge issue and I haven't heard you say you're working on a fix for them. Are you? Because I waste a lot of time (and light) just trying to line up with them properly. If the game is going to be so completely unforgiving, then the mechanics can't be so iffy.
Ahh, the good ol' days. I think I did the same, though can't for the life of me remember which game. So yeah, writing in the dark with one hand and playing the game with the other. Me no gud at multitask.
The directions are there... Kinda like the street names or road signs that have arrows pointing where certain locations are. Theyre found on the walls, or right beside doors that lead to the building wings. The signs outside these specific rooms are labeled with the room names.
That's why I'm 'king' vegeta.Remember scouter. Either way I think tatoforever has chosen not to respond,I guess this the only game I'll buy from them.
Yes, I've seen the bathroom sign and the locker sign. But first you have to actually find that door (and remember how you got to it last time). And I haven't seen labels on most doors. Again, it might be a lighting issue. To preserve light, I'm not shining it on every inch of the walls, and it sounds like you might be expected to. Edit: I don't have the best sense of direction, so fumbling around in the dark without a map is not fun. I usually enjoy exploration games -- I primarily play point-and-click adeventures. I really wouldn't mind the exploration part of this game (actually, that's what I look forward to the most) if I could see where I'm going and not be so concerned that if I try to see something *now* I won't be able to see something else *later*. Because that's what's happening to me now. I can either miss things by preserving my light or waste my light and end up in pitch black later. This is a gorgeous game with a great atmosphere and I can't even see it.
You've encounter maybe a bad installation of The Game..i benchmark The fps on Both iPhone 5(35fps) and iPhone 6 plus(55-60fps with all effect on)..
Hard for me to believe that since every other game runs perfectly, Either way I've tried reinstallation and all that but I guess that's of no use,Anyway thx.
It looks like it says that he killed 10 enemies. No clue how he would kill 10 enemies in 10 minutes considering you don't see any enemies for the entire prologue.
