This was one of the first things I requested as well; I always turn off dialogue subtitles in games, and in this case they're absolutely huge to boot. If you can throw in an option to disable them, that'd be appreciated.
AppStore purchasers seems quite happy with FM so far, 4.4 starts out of 5: https://www.appannie.com/apps/ios/app/834715612/reviews/?date=2015-04-23~2015-04-24 PS: You need to get a free account to see all stats. But in case:
Got it! It wont come in Monday update but first major update (Which include full MFI support) and others goodies! [EDIT] Will be disabled by default, you need to enabled through options. Btw, we are separating the option menu into sub-categories Game, Graphics, Sounds, etc. The reason is we are adding even more options to customize the game to fit different players.
Another interesting chart for today, we are now feactured in the AppStore home page in 137 countries (gold stars), silver stars are different features (Best new games, iOS Exclusive, GameCenter, etc):
Thank you, I appreciate it. I managed to play with default setting for my first attempt because I was curious about the game, but I definitely need this option to fully enjoy it. Now that you confirmed all those tweaks, it just makes me restless. So, just out of curiousity, is there an ETA for the first major update already? It'd be great if the invert Y axis option made it to Monday update, but I understand it's probably not as easy at it sounds.. To adjust the user interface and whatnot. Anyway, as I said earlier, I really appreciate that you care!
I was iffy on getting this game as I am not into hardcore gaming on my iPad, but the responsiveness of the developer has put me over the top. Bought and much appreciated, tatoforever.
Darn, my wife won't let me use her iphone for this game I will definitely purchase this game on android when it comes out. Congrats on the game Tato, it seems to me that it just needs a bit of tweaking and you have a huge seller on the app store. I'm hoping the android release will be by the end of the summer
Laugh my ass off at all of the douchebags who doubted this game ad nauseum. Ha ha. How do you like the game now? This game will be historical on the mobile platform. Congrats Tato.
It'd be cool if there were no dots in the game's title. I know it's a long title, so I'd go with "Memories" only probably? But I have to admit, I'm just nitpicking
Early impressions: great graphics and atmosphere, but somewhat marred by the 3rd person perspective which blocks the view at times. Great spooky sounds. The first time I got into combat I was a bit unprepared and quickly died losing twenty minutes of progress since my save; not good. I would suggest the game hold your hand that first time to help avoid that.
How come I can't turn on motion blur? I'm using an iPad air 2 last time I checked that was the most powerful Apple device
I have been playing a bit throughout the day and I have to say this is goty material for me. I just made it to the cell blocks and the difficulty level is high but in a good way. I have been playing with earphones and the sound and music within this game is phenomenal. Tato, what specific improvements will be included in the next update? Personally, I like the game the way it is with the current difficulty level, although, an autosave function when you close the app would be great.
Yes this is what happened to me also with an iPad Air and I thought it is an iPad Air 2 feature but after your comment I thinking is a bug or something like that.
Looking forward to the update. I had two floppies and still was brought back to the very beginning despite not killing the app in the background.
Ugh. So I spent some time with it on my iPad just now. I ended up taking a different route. But first I nearly got killed by the first enemy. Not sure why, but I had a lot of trouble with it, despite easily taking it out on my iPhone. But now I was so beaten everything turned grey. Since I didn't have a med pack, I didn't save when I came across the next PC. And I still haven't found a charging station. Spoiler The next set of enemies killed me (I think from behind. So...now to start from that checkpoint yet again. Still unsure what's where or the order I'm supposed to be going in, so I assume I'll again run out of flashlight or health before I get to save some real progress. Is the game 4-6 hours without replaying any parts? Because if so, it'll likely take me 80 hours at this rate. Also, the fact that this game *has* to be played in the dark leaves me very little time to spend with it. It's frustrating that I can't play when I have the time to do so, in a room with no light other than sunlight coming in.
