It was just pitch black dark...probably at night I would have been able to make something out (at least some hint of movement of someone attacking me), but not on the train. People stating their problems with the games is derailing the thread? Or is it the other people telling them they are stupid because obviously they can't have those problems?
I have read all the comments, I'm not sure if you have because I'm talking about short save bursts which is the majority of the thread asking for a auto save function that's not the same thing I'm talking about and if you did read the post you would have seen that issue your talking about has been addressed and a big fix to fix that is on the way to correct that problem.
I don't understand the ignorant comments of how it souls have been on PC or another platform because it would have liked better and taken less time, EVEN THOUGH the game WAS MADE to push the limits of mobile gaming.
It's not the stating the problem part that was accomplished within the first 5 - 10 pages, it's the complaining from ppl that's the majority of the thread and 30 pages in one day of the same complaint almost no one is talking about the gameplay or mechanics it's all save complaints. The crash bug has a fix and it is on its way Tato said a few pages back to correct the problem for the background saving switching from app to app and I understand that and am waiting for the fix that's why I said that because a lot of people must not have read enough to see a fix is issued and just keep going on about it almost 40 pages in. Sorry if it came out the wrong way I mean no disrespect to anyone.
Great, just that I can't play it mobile. So pushing the boundaries might be great for the sake of boundary pushing, but I will (need to) play the game at home. Edit: And again, everybody who has a different opinion is just ignorant.
Actually, I find the mechanics and controls lackluster so far. That is OK for me as I had no high expectations and the general atmosphere is great. But it would probably profit from controller support (I need to jailbreak for that, right?).
for god sake it's all about game save..... yeah you can play it mobile but you'll lose the immersion but i might open the app to show my friends how awesome the game is so let's talk about the game now.... i've seen one of the achievement is Complete the game under 30 minutes is that even achievable? god, it's classic hardcore survival horror i meant it in a good way it runs smooth as a butter on the 6+ can't wait for them to release the sequel hope you make enough cash to bring in the sequel Tato
If you try using a PS3 controller or something unsupported yes, but if you go get one of the iOS compatible Bluetooth controllers from your local store or online it works perfectly fine with a non-jailbroken device on any game that supports it and there a lot of different style controllers to fit anyone's preference. I think they are called mfi controllers or something I personally don't own one yet but have been looking at them myself recently because controller support is stated to be in the next update.
trust me, they have enough cash and support from their publisher bro , episode 2 is in the making and definitely will take less time to finished compared to the first one because all framework is done and optimised. btw, keren gak bro gamenya? (read: is it cool?)
Thanks, I won't buy another controller, but I won't bring the iPad up to iOS 9 anyway, so I will finally take the step. It is so nice to use the Dualshock 4 on Z3.
Please slow down and think about what you're going to write before you write it: I've read the above run-on sentence five times and still have no idea what you're trying to say. People are requesting that they be able to stop playing this mobile game whenever they want for whatever reason, and have the game resume from that exact point when they return to it, which is fair enough, and pretty standard. They're not asking to be able to manually save and reload repeatedly anywhere they want. The few people who were asking for actual autosaves/checkpoints were doing so because the game often doesn't preserve the game state if you close it or switch away from it, meaning it was a gamble for them to use their mobile device for something else at the same time if they didn't want to lose their progress. If the game did suspend and preserve your progress when it shut down, crashed, or otherwise lost focus, then they wouldn't need those checkpoints or autosaves. Well no, not necessarily, which is what part of the previous conversation was about. The developer stated they'd be working to eliminate the unexpected background crashes that cause the game to restart, but they haven't yet confirmed whether the game crashing or being shut down naturally by the OS to recover resources for other apps will still cause it to erase all session progress if and when it happens. If I open another app and the OS appropriately shuts down FM to free up resources, as opposed to the game randomly crashing and closing in the background, then that's not an actual crash bug the proposed update will address. As such, the update won't fix the problem of all session progress being unceremoniously erased when switching apps or doing other things with the device, it will just make it slightly less common.
Not a point-and-click adventure at all, no. The game draws much more inspiration from classic third-person survival horror games like Silent Hill, Alan Wake, and Resident Evil, with a sprinkling of nods to various TV shows, movies, and books.
Yeah bring it on As cool as hell it will have permanent spot on my ios device It reminded me of playing the first silent hill They nailed it with the filter effect Hope the 6+ will still be able to play their next game But the iphone is not as warm like when i played mortal kombat it must have been more optimized for ios i presume So any teaser for the extra that'll be included on the next update? Keren banget bro
Played the first 20 or so minutes where i found the first save point. I am certain now this game has a spot on my 2015 GOTY list. I still stand by my opinion that the save system could affect the game's sales, having only a very specific type of players to market the game for. I personally love the game already, but i can see this isnt for everyone, so im really just hoping the publishers make enough money to get the rest of the episodes going in a timely manner. My suggestion to maybe counter this: create a bad dream and a nightmare mode where one (nightmare) is the game as it is as intended, and the other (bad dream or some nice name for it) is still the same game, but has a few of the optional stuff to do (rooms or some background story maybe) locked out, but provides more floppy disks scattered. Or something similar. This way, those who want can save more often, but those who want to take advantage of what the game was intended to be can get to see everything this game offers. Also, those who completed the game in the more casual mode can then be confident enough to go through the nightmare mode as they should, and get themselves access to all lore or rooms or whatever that was locked out in the more casual mode. These are just suggestions that i think are viable. All in all I just want this game to earn money to ascertain succeeding episodes and even sequels, or even new titles from Psychoz. At this point, we now all know what they are capable of making.
I can't wait to get home from this trip & play the game. Lots of good suggestions & ideas above but a crazy amount of drama on the thread! I save games while playing a lot. I like how that can help me progress without replaying big chunks of a game. But I'm totally fine with what I'm reading here about saves. In fact it makes sense to me. It'll add to the atmosphere of the game. I'm sure it'll frustrate me a time or two but I'm ok with that. This isn't a game I'll jump on for a quick 5 minutes. I'll sit down & play when I can spend the time with it & enjoy the experience for what it is & all it has to offer.
Great post, both reasonable and practical. Hopefully the developer sees this and incorporates something along the lines of what has been proposed here. Nonetheless, the game is tremendous as is....even if it will only appeal to a certain type of gamer. For me, I don't mind as I grew up playing games at a time when the difficulty factor was high for games on the nes, etc.
Excuse me if someone suggested this already, but what if they implemented the OPTION to play hardcore with floppy discs and PCs or use a quick/slot/auto save system? You can give a message that it's highly recommended to play hardcore, and maybe an achievement or special unlock for completing the game that way.
