Thank you for you're reply. So at the moment you're team won't have anything to show like just a picture like usual. '\
If you really want a survival-horror game with great atmosphere, try: Amnesia - The Dark Descent. link: http://www.amnesiagame.com/#main Play in the dark with headphones and you have a game with poop-in-the-pants-guarantee. Never played a better horror game.
Hey guys, Have something to share with you. The little girl on the right is a playable character with differents skills/capabilities than Rose. The guy on the left i can't tell you much about him but you provably know what kind of character is. ^^ More stuff soon, stay tunned for more. Enjoy!
Forgotten Memories have a huge varieties of monsters. I won't call it zombie (well that one in those pictures is one of the closest human enemies we have) but yeah, monsters in this game are really real weird and scary stuff. I should say some of them came right from the human imagination. ^^ I'll post more screens of others enemies later on. ^^ Cheers,
Impressive, I must admit those snapshots of the creature and the girl are really good. It's going to be a hard rival with the upcoming games in the app store if you know what I mean. I've got a question, will you're team ever go back and work on the dead strike series, all was that just one game experence?.
Hello Starkiller, I've recently posted on the Dead Strike thread about that. Well, we recently sold Dead Strike to an other studio that's why it got removed from the store. They is working on few updates and a sequels. I can't comment how, when or what about those updates cause we signed an agreement (Dead Strike isn't property of Psychoz Interactive anymore)but spec some news this summer about Dead Strike from the new owners. Cheers,
This game should be viewed in First Person, There really isn't any First Person-Horror games Done right (F.E.A.R was Ok, but it could have been alot better) And the First-Person view is scarier because...well, your seeing everything from the eyes of the character and you wouldn't know "Whats behind that Corner?".
Have you thought about making it over-the-shoulder view, like resident evil 4,5 and dead space 1,2. I think that would make the player more immersed and modernize the game a bit.
The new camera and combat system is more an over-the-shoulder system (when aiming) than a classic cam. We also have some fixed cameras for places where the character can hide and interact. As previously stated, FM have different characters with different skills and abilities which makes total gameplay experiences from each others when playing with them. Cheers,
What about a First-Person View/combat, As I stated. (I also loved how you completely ignored my question =/)
The reason he ignored your question is likely because it makes little sense. At this stage in the development, they're not going to abandon all the work they've done on the third person set up in order to turn it into an survival horror FPS -- a sub-genre that doesn't have a great track record to begin with. And if you think it's all a matter of "switching the camera," you really know nothing of game development.
Really now?. Last I heard Mr.Tato stated that the game is in Pre-Alpha. A Very early stage in Development, So things can be easily changed during the course of Development. Also, Of course I know it can't be changed "Just like that". Don't turn this into a Flame War about my knowledge about games
Well, you don't even know what pre-alpha means, so my guess is that your knowledge of game development is slight. That's nothing to be ashamed of, and it's certainly not an insult. My knowledge of wine making is slight, but I know the difference between a Chianti and a Barolo. Deciding whether to make a game an FPS or a TPS usually happens before you've spent thousands of dollars creating main-character designs and animations (well, unless you are Epic or Rockstar I guess).
