Yup, we have a very talented designer, you will all love the in-game cinematics we are working on. Motion capture data, real-time lip-sync and facial animations on every cinematic.
Not yet, We are still cleaning mocap data right now, once done we will start to put all these lovely cinematics together. And then release a gameplay video. Keep it tight, coming soon.
I'm excited about this, I really am. Looks like you're pretty much set to put out a ground breaking iPhone/Touch game here.
Damn this looks really nice. Sadly, I won't be able to play it as I have an iPod Touch 2G, but hopefully by the time the game is out the new touch will be out.
Between 8-10 hours, provably more as the gameplay is quite new and different from other survival horror games. ^^
We have been working on this project for more than a year now. Two years is our maximum deadline for the entire project. I know is a bit risky in the portable/mobile market, but we decided to step forward and we are quite confident that Forgotten Memories is going to be a very huge success. At least it have everything to be a killer app on the iPhone platform: Next gen mobile graphics. Powerful psychological storyline, lots of in-game cinematics. In-door/Outdoor environments seamlessly. As an exampled ive attached the first floor map. Theirs 5 floors on the hospital + 4 outside levels. Is pretty huge. Rich interactive environments, every single object in the game have some sort of interaction (pickable-item, audio emitter, display text, trigger-able, switchable, etc). You can hide inside/behind almost any object. Lots of items to find, puzzles/mysteries to solve! Bosses fights! Yes, several bosses fights each one very unique/different from others. Enemies can get into your room and look for you. They can also hide behind walls/objects, wait for you to come closer and jump at you. As i've already said, the gemeplay itself is based on pure psychological fears. You will jump quite ofther, even on your iPhone. We are working on every single small detail. Third person camera/controllers and FPS camera/controllers smoothly blended, you can switch in real-time and watch how smooth the transition from one into the other is. Believe me, any survival horror fan and even adventure fans will fall in love with Forgotten Memories. Note: the noise on the images, is not the Jpg quality, is a camera effect in the game. Cheers,
I'm pretty sure all of your hard work and dedication is going to yield great results! Really appreciate you putting up a lot of information for those of us who are hungry for it.
Wow the shots look very nice. I know nothing of horror games so that's about all I can say Good luck on the game guys. EDIT: My one question is why you guys would need nude models of characters.
Do you need any testers? I could bang this game out in a day no problem, I have nothing else to do. A full run-through would be great to find any holes in the story lines or bugs in the game play; just sayin.
Well, i cannot go into details on this but I'll try to answers without leaking too much info. The "seduction" and the "beauty" are parts of the whole Forgotten Memories universe, you will see why. This game is rated 17+, not only because it have some violent scenes, but also there's some nude scenes. By the way, "nudes scenes" not "porn scenes". Cheers,
Once we get closer to the first public release (this summer), we will make a new thread asking for private beta testing, I'll contact you. Cheers,
Somewhere between 6-8 US$ for Iphone/Android version. PC/Mac/Web version will be around 20$. However, we still not sure about theses prices. We will first see how people respond to the playable demo coming this summer and how much are they really waiting Forgotten Memories, and then we will tag the final price but is something located on theses numbers. Cheers,
I'll try to contact peoples from this thread but you better watch out for the FM beta testing thread in case i forgot somebody.
