To that one guy, if u have an 8GB, then its not a 3rd generation ipod touch. only the 32/64 GB versions are. To the dev: What the average FPS on a 3GS and is it a shooter game? Are there enemies to run away from or do you just walk around in dark rooms like in the vid.?
Forgotten Memories being a pure psychological survival horror is a completely different game, nothing to do with Dead Strike (zombie shooter genre). There's also lots of indoor and outdoor levels. Even the game framework is different. Theses videos are only an environment walkthrough. I cannot comment too much about the gameplay but is not something classic as Silent Hill or Resident Evil, the game puzzles and interaction takes advantage of the iPhone/iPad capabilities at its best. All i can say is that the game is quite scary and you have lots of new ways of interaction. I suggest you to get an iPad as the iPad version will completly rock. Better graphics, bigger, you can even play with iPad keyboard.
Pretty sure it's still going around. On Youtube the dev was saying it'll be released around Halloween, but I'm not too sure.
where is that video my friend? and if it's around halloween so when exactly will be released i mean which month cause i dunno when is the halloween :$:$?
hope it doesnt suck like dead strike did.But the Graphics looked like a PS2 game wothy like resident evil 4 for consules.Maybe they could remake RE4 better than the one all ready on the ipod
I've emailed one of the devs to see if there is any news on the game's development. Just waiting on a reply
I've received an email from one of the developers, who had a lot of exciting things to say about the game: There will be lots of puzzles to solve, very rich and interactive environments to explore, lots of cinematic story-telling and a revolutionary gameplay system. The game's core is based on "pure psychological fear". There will be a free, playable demo - without any advertisements coming soon (by the end of the summer) The game will feature a unique multiplayer mode, something not seen before on survival horror games. - There will be more info on this closer to the demo release. Facebook intergration, with iPhone vs Android gameplay. Now here are some new screenshots of the game. The developer said that the images contain the actual graphics seen on iPhone3GS/iPod Touch 3G(32/64GB) and iPad and iPhone 4 with larger resolution. I think that has whet everyone's appetites!
@barl: Well thanks to your post, I'm now foaming at the mouth to play this I was excited before, but now I'm pumped for it. Looks fantastic
Brilliant post barl. All those threads about scaring games has got me wanting a good game that fits the bill, this looks like it will.
