It's not a false information, he's just excited as we all. Although is not a secret anymore, I've already stated that the game will be sent for review this month and it's currently being Beta tested on Apple TestFlight. The build it's already uploaded to iTunes, just one click away for for final submission. Keep in mind, we'll set a release date after game has being reviewed (which still not the case).
The patience you guys are showing despite the ignorance/accusations is impressive. On another note, this is probably a silly question but: it's too late to get in on that beta, isn't it?
No, it'll go in to the official review process this month. Possibly. The beta test has to finish first before that happens and that'll need a bit more than a week to be an accurate one. The review process will take 7-14 days from submission, depending on the que at the time. And that still doesn't mean it'll release right on approval. There are marketing considerations to be assessed at that stage. Pre launch plays, some play previews, some pre release promotion, the usual, etc. So, no, not next week or so. Wait until they've been approved and he has let us know that and then expect an announcement date. Don't expect it that soon though. There is more more considerations. Apple might be heavily in support of the game as well so they'll have their own thing to do as well (featured App Store spots, etc,) to prepare for it.
I was doing a Google search for this game and saw stuff about a Wii U release in the future. Is the Wii U still one of the target platforms for this game? I have been playing my Wii U so much over the last year or so, so that would be awesome to play this on there especially since I don't really use my iPhone anymore.

Guys, I think it's safe to say that we're all aware this thread has been a nightmare over the last few years...but realistically that's due to both "parties". On one hand you have the doubters, "complainers", trolls and whatnot and on the other you have the endless "The game is coming out soon x10", "The game was rejected x10", "The game was submitted x10" comments from the development team, etc. Look, I've been looking forward to the game since the day I joined the forum, and I firmly believe it is indeed coming out soon, but please guys...please (beta testers), you guys have already "signed" an NDA...keep it that way. We know how easy it is to work up guys by posting in this thread, so instead of posting "OMG, I'M PLAYING THE LATEST BETA~!", just play it, leave this thread alone and once something of significance related to FM is released, come and bump this thread all you like. You guys wouldn't believe how many moderators have wanted to close and/or delete this thread over the years. Yeesh.
