    .....should've signed up for beta.

Guess that means a bug free and uber polished first experience for me, though! :D

I don't think he's insulting any people's work, that's probably the way he feels and we can see English (like most of us) isn't his main language.

sorry if i offended you. man my point wasn't to insult any game. i should admit in my opinion all mobile/portable consoles games that are trying to reproduce console experience (i'm obviously not talking about original nintendo titles here) would look a bit like parodies on that market! but thats not because they are bad but because there are already at least 10 titles that all do the same thing but just 10 times better. while i can see FM having its place as the old school horror game alot of people are dying for (just my opinion). just look at my comments on GODFIRE THREAD, EXILES, and btw MC5 is my most anticipated game of this year (cauz i'm into brainless shooters like battlefield and COD) so i'm far from insulting it anytime soon. but i do aknowledge its gonna have that "ios game factor" which until now has always tried to be on par with console experience but failed. i can just hope this time that factor will get the closest it's ever been. may be i said it wrong on my previous post but the point in saying that was just "i didn't feel that factor at all in fm". i hope i made it clear now.

Is any of the Beta testers playing this on an last-gen iPad (Air, miniR)? Is it smooth with all the effects cramped out to the max? I just asking because of all this non optimized games which came out lately and run like garbage on these devices. I'm a lil bit worried about this.

How did it fail? If any of the Chaos Rings games was released on PC before iOS what would be your opinion? Would you say "it feels like a mobile game"? There are lots, and with lots I mean more than we think, of mobile games that would make it to the PC market through Steam without problems and kick the a$$ of the big boys there, from little arcade games to AAA games.

I LOVE iOS gaming and I take it more seriously than any of the rest of platforms I played on. Hearing again the "mobile games suck because they are for mobile phones and will never meet the quality of PC/console games" again just feels like insulting all the people working on those games because the quality will suck even if it's a cool game because it's a mobile game, and honestly I'm quite tired of hearing that already in sites about gaming like IGN and 3DJuegos. If you really like mobile games, you shouldn't feel that "ios game factor" while playing the games you like.

You got a point but still some people dont believe that iOS can make immersive experiences cause big players didn't (and will possibly never will) take it seriously. The reason is profits vs gaming experience, how to bring a console experience and make it profitable enough to justify 100millions development cost in a medium where the average game sells at 1-3$?
They will either use their mobile brands to market their huge AAA titles or simply to make a quick buck on the go. Anyway, this console vs mobile, immersion vs casual could go on forever! You both have a point and I do agree with you guys but let's not derail the thread! ^^
    Warm regards,

For all you beta testers that have played Dead space on iOS, (which imo is the echelon of iOS gaming). How does it compare?

I played as hell DEAD SPACE on iOS,I consider him the best ever on App Store no game has surpassed DEAD SPACE, but I consider it more an action horror, FORGOTTEN MEMORIES is unique because it is a true "old school survival horror" as I've never seen on iOS, and ,without getting into specifics, runs at 60 fps on my iphone 5! both are the Best That I ever seen, while belonging to a slightly different kind of genre,so,you can't compare them, but I'm sure if you are a fan like me of Survival horror,it's the best experience you can have..Really a Great Game! And sorry for my bad English..

dead space is more action oriented. but F.M is a pure survival horror. its way more stressfull and scary than dead space (since the game focus only on that) if thats what you wanna know. but again they aren't really in the same category so you cant compare them.

    Thanks Oldsnake,

I appreciate the input. Yes, I'm a big fan of horror games and I agree Dead space was and is still incredible. It's a shame EA couldn't put out more mobile games like that one. Amnesia is the game that scared the crap out of me, if it's anything like that one, I will be very happy.
