No it's just that I don't get the hype for it. I'm not saying it's bad, in fact it looks really good. But I'm just wondering why. I mean the number of posts says it all.
the thread has been opened for quite a long time now and also the game looks very very promising.and as a beta tester i can tell you there are a lot of chances that this game takes ios gaming by storm when it comes out and become a reference in terms of quality game on mobile (actually it will...i just don't see any other way around). thats why the level of anticipation here has just gone insane! and also the fact that the dev is here and very active in the thread helps a lot for the visibility!
This game has exceeded all my expectations and beyond,you have never seen anything like FORGOTTEN MEMORIES,it's well worth The time,trust me,Tato and it's Team has managed to create something unique,that you never Forget
it is and get your expectation high on this, you won't be disappointed. ps. lol, even me really tempted to share some information with you guys here IF I'm allow to do so. i don't know how tato and his team can handle such pressure for this long.
Please dont. I'm sure Tato told all the beta testers before not to say anything, it would be very unfair if you did.
no worries my friend, already beta tested lots of big games before this. so i know the rules hehehehe ps.i just never test anything that look like this before
gooooood now this is what i was talking about, to all the testers specially the well known and active ones, u know exactly how good the game is and what it will be so please keep the page at 5 star and on top of the list, and to all the people there are only so many kind of game styles horror, RPG, fps and so on, this is the base there were some great survival horror games in the past, building a game is comparable to playing with LEGO if u give two teams 3000 Lego pieces one might make a work of art one makes a pile of crap lol, Tato and his team use the right parts in the right place trust me on that. Some very big claims going on here. By reading some posts one would think it's the best survival horror ever made. Keep your expectations in check people. And to testers who are playing and enjoying the game, just keep the hype to responsible levels. Overhyping always leads to disappointment, even if the game is good. Just my opinion. Never saw overhyped stuff meet expectations.
Agreed. Reminds me of Oceanhorn hype. It was a good game but not ios game changing like everyone was thinking. Looking forward to this but as always I'll wait for reviews when it comes out.
WAIT FOR REVIEW?? dude its supposed to be free at launch. ok no actually i get it! i totally get your concerns but there's also that voice in my head which says "if only he knew". i'm a big fan of horror games and if your in this thread then you too. we really dont want to overhype the game. i'm sorry if i did! but i can definitely stand by my words when i say " keep your expectations high" and that "this game can potentially change ios gaming".
Good point Ok I'm gonna change my tone i know what I'm playing is gold but I'm not gonna brag too much anymore I'm gonna let the game come out then people will realize what all the hype was about thank you, Fare enough?..
So far it have been a very smooth gameplay session. Testers had (and still have) lot of fun while being scared to death playing the game which is a good sign! There's some reported bugs being worked on, we'll do our submission as soon as they are fixed. More news soon!
ok this is basically the reason why its impossible for anyone on this thread to be disappointed: 1) its graphically even better than everything that has been shown in the thread yet (gawd the shadows!!!)!! and people here are already praising the visuals 2) its the most console-like experience i've got on any i-thing so far. (like i'm super overhyped for games like MC5, EXILES, ARALON 2, GODFIRE etc...but lets face it, i know they will be awesome FOR IOS STANDARDS. like put it on pc and consoles they'll look like parodies!! but FM which is also coming out on pc and console btw, looks to me like a very awesome and potentially successful game EVEN ON THOSE PLATFORMS. 3) its RIDICULOUSLY scary and stressful! i say this because i know tato already talked about this here...some enemies are sneaky!!!! LIKE WHO WOULD NEED SNEAKY ENEMIES? alone in the dark? with limited supplies? and they god damn act randomly (i'm almost dying from not being able to explain you in details here)! so its very replayable too. 4) controls are smooth and classic (the only type that actually works on ios not those so called "intuitive controls" we've seen in some games lately), and if i didn't have one already i would've get a controller just because of this game. there's so much more i want to say about this but i don't know how to do it without going into details. all i can say is this is my thoughts about the game. i'm not trying to overhype it. Now are there some features that may be you expect but won't be in the game. may be you guys won't like some other features and that's normal!! the only product no one hasn't any complain after trying is called CRACK! but no matter how you see it you'll all agree that FM is at the very least BY FAR the best survival horror game on mobile (probably even handheld devices in general) and a solid console-feeling game! and those who are used to ios games standards will literally not understand whats happening to their devices once the game installed!!
It's ok that you're trying to support the game you're beta testing (although I agree with heringer about not overhyping stuff), but insulting other people's hard work without even playing the games (all the games you listed are still in development) is just so wrong I don't know what to say.
