Even if the project started back to 2009 the full production where funded only two years back (2012). Since then we started our framework (which btw is already finished) working along side the game itself. On top of that we've already said a while ago that we will never again announce anything until is ready, so if anyone still moaning about release dates there's nothing we can do. I do understand people frustrations, it's just hard to please everyone (specially when you get through lot of financial problems). Besides that we don't own anything to anyone here, I do know this situation could have hurt lot of people here. When you work hard to bring something good for people to enjoy you do care about those people and it wasn't our intention to hurt anyone feelings (if that was the case) and I'm profoundly sorry for this. Cheers,
You don't have to apologize, and I do know that you worked hard on this. I'll admit that when you mentioned release dates, and then telling us, that the game would then have a prelude episode and then broken down into other episodes, it was frustrating. I was under the impression that it was going to be a full game release but I realize that things/plans change. I've always said you don't owe us anything. At the same time gamers can be impatient, when they see a game they like. My point was that if people get frustrated there is nothing wrong with that. Especially if it's expressed on a forum. I think some posters did get a little intense and shouldn't have accused you on not even having a game or calling it "vapor ware" It seems like some people have a hard time if someone expresses any critiques, which is only fair in a forum setting. I think if you can express it in a fair manner there is nothing wrong with that as long as it isn't nasty. Good luck with the game, and I hope it does really well. I'm looking forward to playing the final product.
When you are ready to expand to Android, I can see this game being a huge hit on that OS. The mobile market in general has been looking for an in depth horror survival game and from what I've heard, you are going to bring that. Good luck Tato.
I made an account just to say this: This game looks fantastic, and I'll definitely be buying it on day one. Just from watching the trailer, I can see that you guys have some real talent in creating atmosphere and scary environments. Two questions though, I saw some people mention episodes, is this a multi-part game? Or will it be the full game as one download? Also, have you guys set a price yet? Thanks
I'm One of The Testers, and finally i can say, after lots of years, and without any doubt, That IOS have it's own, first true survival horror experience at it's best, like in the past there was PSone Silent Hill .. everything work, and how it's works ..without enter into the details,You'll find everything you would expect and lot more from a game of this genre!!
yes...a lot more than what you could possibly expect from a survival horror! AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT IOS STANDARDS!!
The 1st impressions for this are better than for MGS Ground Zeroes lol Can't wait to lay my paws on this.
It's currently possible yeah. We've integrated Everyplay middleware into our framework. You can record/play gameplay videos directly from your device. Including your face in the corner (not visible when you are playing/recording through) and your voice with your device microphone. Videos can be shared on any social site too.
this is what i concerned. i think it might available for the high end device only though. if possible this is a "cool must have feature" for this game.
It uses some cpu time but our preliminary tests are pretty good on low end devices. We've been working very tightly with Everyplay developers to make it fast even on low end devices. Like the rest of our options, it's there, if you wanna record and risk few fps drops, you are welcome! ^^ PS: Mid-High end devices doesn't even drop 1fps.
I haven't enjoyed a survival horror game this much since the first RE game I get that chill I got the first time the dogs came crashing through the window. Hell it creeps me out playing in the daytime Fantastic job
I'm sorry to say that I didn't know about this game since today. and now all I can think about is "when ?!"
All I can say is that in overall the game is finished if you really want to know. I can't tell you exactly when it'll be available as our lovely TouchArcade testers already found a couple of minor issues that we are currently fixing, plus there's some undergoing polishing features being added/tweaked. As soon as it's done, we'll send it for submission. Try keep roaming the thread for a bit, we should have something to share about it soon. Cheers,
That's great to hear, can't wait for it I saw some people mentioning episodes earlier, do you mean you have the first episode done? Or is it the entire full game? Also, have you guys decided on the minimum OS required to play?
First episode (the pilot episode) is finished. Episodes two and three are partially done and still heavily on development. iOS 7 is required.
