The whole episode thing is makes it even worse. After waiting forever for the game to come out we have to wait for more episodes...

I think ive really supported Tato and the FM team, often beating down the haters with sarcastic remarks but come on guys you need to maintain a more professional front. Know body knows who you are Koao, just some random guy posting videos of a game. If you want to make people believe what your posting is true introduce yourself. "Hi guys im Wilfried Marcadet working as a Game Designer/Producer at Psychoz Interactive. Sorry for the delays but here is a clip of it running live on a iphone" Tato specifically asked the community not to believe any news unless it came form him. Im more than happy (and im sure the community is) to accept any video as true as long as the person posting it is actually from the FM team.

You're right koao, and so are we all. But threecubes is also right. You just can't let these guys get to you. You always need to keep a professional face for the sake of your company and image. When you get tired of responding to the same garbage, come up with a standard (canned) response like what threecubes wrote (which is great, though you don't necessarily need to apologize for the delays as long as you make your fans aware that you care and understand their frustration) and just copy and paste. That way you avoid the urge to write something nasty.

Don't be so utterly ridiculous. It was uploaded to counter a previous recent post. And whether it was streamed or not, which I'm sure anybody who is not a flatworlder can see its not streamed, it clearly demonstrates to all you haters and doubters out there that it does indeed exist and that it is as visually amazing as it is rumoured to be These flatworlders are just reaching for any kind of excuse to continue with their raging, hating and conspiracy theories. And while I agree with Three Cubes fully in that it could have been handled better but we don't know if its a beta tester, an associate, a family member of the the team, a journalist or even a team member. Or anything as to who it is other than its someone with a test build. But it's very clear its running on an iOS device, how that could be clearer is beyond me but the flatworlders didn't believe the world was round either so I guess no amount of evidence will be enough. And again as three cubes said, it could be done more professionally but I'm in no way surprised at the reaction considering how many of the same people seem to just come in and troll, rage and hate on the game and the team all the time. It's far more cordial than those same flatworlders would get in the real world. Time they trolled somewhere else because all their recent comments on the thread are just even more laughable now.

You see that on that guy because he may be a dev or related to FM but not on the bunch of people before that were calling this fake or some other BS without proofs or any other thing also over the sake of a video game, probably because they are bored and don't have any other thing to do except needlessly pester developers?
I think your mixing up your definition of trolls. There are people on this thread that have been following this game for years. They are plainly frustrated that this game or episode hasn't been released by now. Despite many estimations and promises by Tato himself. I have actually stood by Tato and tried to be very patient,( I'm not a troll) but I can also see the other side of this argument. That people are just tired of the excuses and broken dates. There are few members on this thread that have been following this game for years and are clearly frustrated, I wouldn't call them trolls. That's just like calling people "White Knights" for people that constantly have to defend Tato's game and lack of release.
It's one thing talking about the game but insulting someone personally and calling them "nothing" over a video game is ridiculous. This thread isn't black and white, there are many grey areas. Yes, Tato doesn't owe us anything but at the same time with all these estimations and even a couple of promises, people can be frustrated also.
Well, johnny, in principle I agree with ya on the frustration part and I know you're in no way a troll, you're a nice guy that I like interacting with even though we occasionally have our disagreements, it doesn't change that I think you're a nice guy. But if its frustrating for you on one side of the fence, just imagine how frustrating it is on the other side of the fence when so many people are making such negative comments on a frequent basis and just bumping the thread with what I could only call flatworlder comments from trolls. It's obviously a troubled and difficult development for possibly technical and financial reasons and missed deadlines, but that's no excuse for the amount of negativity that one sees here on a daily basis.
One thing is being angry and frustated, and another thing is the kind of replies I've seen in this thread from some people, something that is just ridiculous even when compared to the old DT thread, and yes, I call it trolling, because otherwise it just doesn't have a damn name. They didn't pay anything to the devs for this game, it's not their work. They just don't have any reason to be THAT annoyed. They've been given screenshots, videos, some songs from the OST and almost daily news by one of the devs, but all they gave in return were some stupid replies calling this fake and yadayadayada. It's like everyone forgot that this is a game, a game that's in development, and things like not meeting a release date happen, and that if that happens it just can't be called "lying".
Thanks Rip, your all right in my books. I like your posts also, and we have our disagreements but that's cool. I think I will stay out of this thread for the most part. I just see both sides of the story on this thread. I would like to play this game but the delays are crazy. Again, Tato owes me nothing. So I guess we'll all have to wait and see what happens.
I hear where your coming from. I guess we all have to just wait until we hear anything. It's pointless now for anyone on this thread to argue about the game, time will tell.
