To all our fellow supporters (and to new ones): I know you guys din't asked for a release date of the episode but just to be clear: Believe me, we are diying even more to put FM in your hands but don't take this as "it should be there 100% in the next few days" cause this is something we can't do anything about it and we are trying very hard to solve the issue. We are working very close with Apple to fix it as soon as possible. Then it should be available in the App Store. As soon as the issue is solved, we going to announced it here first with a final release date for the App Store (about a week before the launch). I know it wont take till the end of the month but I just don't want to say exactly when cause I don't know exactly right now. Hope you understand. With love from Psychoz Team!
I think it's been years since I last posted in this thread, so I may have missed a few (hundred) pages, but I'm guessing that by now the game requires something newer than an iPhone 3GS? Will it run on an iPod Touch 4? Looking at what people are posting about that trailer I'm not going to get my hopes up too much... (Should the iPod Touch 4 not be supported I guess I can only hope that apple announced an iPod Touch 6 this month)
The 3GS and iTouch4 are supported but devices with only 256MBs are really unstable on the Alternate Realities episode, due to the large amount of memory required by assets. We recommend at least an iPhone4 (which have 512MBs). However, we are solving this issue for the final version of the game (not for this episode).
This game is just a complete marvel now I've seen the trailer! It's amazing what you can do with a mobile phone these days. Anyway my question is, will the game be released in episodes similar to what Telltale did with The Walking Dead or will it be released as a full game after the 1st episode? Sorry in advance if this question has already been asked #
Forgotten Memories : Alternate Realities is not the beginning neither the end of Forgotten Memories. It's a 1h of gameplay that was taken directly from the final game. On the final version of FM it may change (not guaranteed). And no, the final version of FM it's a full fledged 10hours + of gameplay horror awesomeness! Unless people are desperate enough and ask us to break the final version into episodes but it's too soon to speculate on that so. Cheers, from Psychoz Team!
Tato, please don't break it down into episodes. I think all of us would rather play the full game in it's entirety. From a big supporter !
On my ipad i have retro arcade games, which were fantastic to play in the arcades as a kid, and when they were on the ipad i couldnt believe it, the game was there, in tablet form, which i used to save up money to play every day, BUT, i couldnt play it on the ipad as the touch screen controls were simply unplayable. So, i bought an icade, and it was brilliant , like being in the arcade again. Then i purchased apple TV, so i could stream games to my big 42 inch TV, brilliant, some games were made for air play, others i just mirrored whats on my ipad. And with my trusty old playstation2, i have games like silent hill 2 and resident evil, which i love. Games like this 1, forgotten memories will also fall into the category of brilliant games to play, BUT, my worry is, although they may look bloody brilliant, will it be awkward, cumbersome and really fiddly using touch screen controls. So, my questions are, is there, or has there been invented, a joy stick like the playstation/ x box, that can run via blue tooth to the ipad (like the icade) and will FM be compatible, as i know this game looks brilliant , but i would hate to think that touch screen controls on the ipad are the ONLY way you can play it. THis game isnt your infinity blade etc etc , its one where you need to move your character here there and everywhere, while selecting weapons etc etc and to me touch screen controls just arent up to the job. Each human being has their preference and i like to have the joystick in hand and my ipad either propped up on its case or streamed to the apple TV to get full enjoyment.
i had seen the Alternate Realities looking Amazing Cant wait to play this game i know that the Game are one of the Biggest in The Appstore will ever be !
If not breaking it up into episodes means another year or more delay, it might be a good idea to make it episodic.
I think you logged in to TA with the wrong sock account, You use the Idgeian one when you want to to moan about FM and tell us that we are all fools whenever we post a positive comment. Any way with the new ios7 gamepad compatibility im sure FM will get the upgrade and if not play it on one of the other formats FM will support.
Forgotten Memories control system are really smooth and awesome (even for a touch device). If you liked Dead Space you'll like ours (It's not exactly the same but quite similar).
