I'm sorry but the comparison to TLOU is wrong..No zombies here or atleast to what I've seen.I don't think it's on a post apocalyptic world either(correct me if I'm wrong)...It's more similar to Alan Wake if you ask me... I'm pretty shocked no-one saw the comparison between this title and AW,unless it was posted before....With the number of pages here I'm not back-tracking,hehe..
Thanks for the correction,hehe...It was first thing that popped in my head when I saw the trailer... @sidgoku123 so Alan wake is a low quality game for you??Anyway never mind........
Exploration (or normal) mode are those screens where you see the character rotating 360 degrees (camera and character full freedom). And combat (or AIM) mode it's pretty similar to Dead Space aiming system (where the camera always follows the back of the character). If you ever saw Resident Evil 3.5, you'll get an idea but here are some screenies just in case. [EDIT] Btw, enemies in those dark areas are really dangerous!
Ah, of course, I understand exactly what you mean now. Thanks very much for that. Now that I understand what you mean, it sounds perfectly suited to what my understanding of the game is. It also helps that Dead Space is possibly the best, most complete experience so far on iOS with a system of mechanics that perfectly suited the atmosphere of the game. So excellent choices basically that, to my mind at least, will add substantially to the targeted atmosphere. Makes a lot more sense than what I mentioned or considered in that post. Thanks for that, much appreciated.
I agree, I have the game too and for me it was the only other game next to Amnesia, that I had to keep playing. Joel and Ellie had me invested in the game and I actually felt for the characters. I'm glad I have a ps3 to be able to enjoy games like The last of us. .... but getting back to forgotten memories, I'm looking forward to yet another immersive game.
For the final version of the game, Vita and Wii U version will come first and soon later the iOS version (with a 3-4 weeks time frame). PS3, PS4, PC, will follow. As for the demo it'll come next month (August) on iOS. There's some big chances the demo will come to the Wii U and Vita too. [EDIT] Btw, Forgotten Memories will be showcased in the Official Nintendo Magazine for the best upcoming Wii U games. More info soon.
With this release time frame, it might collide with gta 5 release in september, i want to enjoy both games, probably if it comes out in october it will be better, because we might have enjoyed gta 5 to some extent.
Yes! It's coming in August. In fact the demo is almost ready for public! We are working out the PR materials (web site, marketing, GDC demos, public information, etc) and will soon be sent to Nintendo and Apple.
The final version will contain various IAPs, but most of the unlockables will go through playing the game and exploring deeper.
