No, They'll be two different applications. The final one will be about 2-2.5GBs size. The demo it's about 400-500MBs. They will store save/config data in different folders and the reason is because the demo doesn't start from the beginning of the game (it's 30 mins of gameplay in the middle of the game).
It'll remain there as a free app. After all it helps/promotes the full game (and this is the main reason for the demo). Any bug fix that goes into the final version, will also get into the demo (it's the same project and same code but only few playable scenes).
To be honest, yes we need money, we are indies and we all invest our own money (each one of our crew member btw). I'm not trying to win the lottery. You know there's some easier way to get money than risking all the time (and money) we spend in this game. We only need enough money to continue bring our ideas into live and do what we love (games). This is our ultimate goal!
It's actually bigger than that. The in-game project it's about 20GBs. The whole project with external sources 50GBs. When packed and compressed it's about 2.5GBs of game data. When installed into your device it's about 3-3.5GBs. It's a little monster!
Are you talking about an iOS game 3.5 GB.The most I have ever seen is 2 GB.And you call it a little monster.Even though I'm gonna get that monster!
That certainly is a monster Tato. The biggest games on iOS are Gameloft games that go up to 2Gb but 3.5... as Keanu Reeves would say " Whoah !" That's cool though. I will definitely clear up space for this game.
Well, I thought ios games can only be 2 gigs for downloading. Once installed, I think they can be bigger. I was recent playing xcom and it occupies 3.2 gig of space. I personally do not mind how big the file is because I bought a 64 gig ipad for a reason. I am going to by the game. I am also going to spread the word about the game in a positive way.
That was a while back. ^^ Anyway we've fixed all characters skin simulations (specially in that area).
Small video showcasing a Fluids Simulation in the Water System. This will be used to leave trails in the water when characters or monsters walks, small waves, steps, water ripples, blood trails dissolving in the water and a whole range of water sim effects you'll see in the final version of the game. Advice: Water sound sux (I know) the purpose of the video was to showcase the fluid simulation. ^^ Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Looking good, knowing how terrible youtube is at compressing dark videos this must look amazing in real. I Hope all of this flooding and snow is not causing to many delays
