It started when i had silent hill on import on the psx and thought it was amazing!! I am a huge and I mean huge survivor horror fan and this looks eminence! If you run a beta or need tester please give me a shout I would be honoured!! To all other TA users hey ;)

That's the average fps for such devices but don't expect it to see it always like that. Don't worry, you'll never notice it. ;)

As long as it doesn't run like the walking dead did at times on consoles, I'm happy.

Won't you be capping it at 30 fps anyway?

No, don't. There is a huge difference between 60 and 30 FPS, and for iPads the battery is so big that I don't mind expending it more quickly to run it at 60.

Yeah, actually my iPad ran TWD better than a PS3 or Xbox did.

What ios games have you played that let you choose so you can evaluate the difference? Not sure what's better a constant 30 or a frame rate that jumps between 30 and 60.

Might not be that Important as FM is not a fast paced FPS shooter.

None, but plenty on other platforms.

If my hardware is capable, why not let me choose? I see no harm. Look what happened when Gameloft didn't give iPad 3 owners the choice between retina and full effects.

The only devices we have some stability issues and slowdowns from time to time are iPhone/iTouch4 (but people are aware of that). The rest are really smooth. I can't tell you that you'll have 60fps all the time because that's impossible with such amount of heavy graphics but high end devices are rock smooth steady (at least 50-60fps) no problem.

For a survival horror game smooth framerate aren't' that important (you must however guarantee at least a minimum of 24-30 fps). Graphics/immersion is a priority and more important.
As ThreeCubes already pointed out, Forgotten Memories isn't a fast paced action game but like I said in my previous post the game caps and runs extremely fast/smooth on high-end devices, nothing to worry about.

That's where I see problems in iOS games... Too little allow you to choose your desired graphical settings. And the ones that due have terrible effects on my iPhone 5. I'd like to see a game that Really pushes it!

the last time I checked, the top page stipulated may 2013 but this mention has disappeared.
Should I assume that the game is going to be published later?
I was expecting trailers with all the bells & whistles but fell short of contents to appetize me!

If you look back a few pages takinforever explains why it's been pushed back to the summer.

There's like 336 pages on this thread so a sum up from the ones in the know would be much appreciated!

    @Shoi,
To answer your question (and clarify a bit about the dev status of the game) yes we've pushed the release to this summer but not due to consoles launch, mostly because we want it to be ultra-polished. Though, if something happens with consoles (like consoles guidelines, game rating, submissions slots, etc) that requires the game to be pushed back way more, we will simply release the mobile version first and the consoles version as soon as the issues are sorted out.
Hopefully everything will remain smooth for consoles but that's our plan B. :)
    Warm regards,
