We are aiming for a similar kind of scary experience (but different from Amnesia mind you). We've implemented some new features never seen before in a horror game (somewhat experimental). So prepare to be scared!
I am generally scared as sh*t when playing horror games on big screen that have peek - a- boo monster effect or build high suspense in some parts.So why am I playing them ? Well, mostly because they usually have amazing stories behind them (Alan Wake and hopefully Forgotten Memories ) or just to see how gruesome they can be ( Dead Space ). I hate being put in desperate situations in games though , like running trough whole wood in blur / slow mode and with creepy music with no ammo and shadows all around me, almost gave up on game ( Alan Wake) , or Dead Space sudden video flashes ( video when entering cryogenic room with stasis pods almost gave me hearth attack ).
Yeah I wish I could wipe everything i remember from the game and experience it again, one of the best games I've ever played
Erm... wasn't it the Game Boy Advance? Or is this a different one? I know some Italian graphic design studio developed an engine called "BlueRoses" or something, and the screenshots I saw from it demonstrate what looks like a 3D world of Resident Evil, and it was my understanding that it was being developed for a 3D Resident Evil game on the GBA. It looked way more advanced than anything the Game Boy Color could do... Maybe I'm remembering wrong? Edit: Never mind. It is a different Resident Evil Gameboy game. There was a port developed of the original game for the Game Boy Color (if it being canceled led to the creation of REmake on the GameCube, then I am all for the GBC one being canned!), but there -was- also Resident Evil 2 on the GBA being developed by Raylight Studios using their BlueRoses engine! Although I thought I remember the announcement of the BlueRoses graphical engine having demonstration photos attached that portrayed what certain areas of Resident Evil (the original) were going to look like.... I swear.
