Woah, there's going to be in-App purchases? Jesus Christ! I thought of all the games THIS ONE would be the most genuine.
He's not saying there's going to be iap. He's saying he can't go the route of making it free to play with a full game unlock as a iap, because of people being able to hack Iap's as well.
i cant waiiiiittttt Tato, pleaaaaaseeeee....i got a Vita and an Ipad 2....when is the launch date???? i cant waiiiiitttttt
I think Tato forgot to tell you all that the game's going to be free to play. Apparently, according to the TA article, the developers decided that F2P is the best way to experience survival horror. They have a few screens of it, basically you have a few bars that are always visible at the top of the screen: health, ammo, special ammo, stars, gold, store button. You earn gold by playing, but every weapon except the pistol and the baseball bat costs stars (available as IAP). You can go to the store anytime during gameplay and buy ammo, guns, health, etc with gold and stars. There are also guides, special inst-kill ammo, and locators (like dead space) available as a $5 IAP each. There are also timers apparently, you have to either pay stars to make sure Rose's (your character) clothing isn't dirty or scratched, or you can wait a half hour to have her repair them on her own. There is also a little banner advertisement at the top of the screen that flashes during gameplay. All in all, I'm so glad this is free! Now I don't have to pay a cent and get to experience a full, immersive survival horror game. Thanks a ton to listening to us hardcore gamers, Tato! Spoiler I kid
Nop, We will later submit the game for ESRB and PEGI rating (consoles). Once is done, we will announce the final release dates. Forgotten Memories will of course be available first on the Vita/Wii U and soon later to iOS (within a month or less).
"Potentially yes" If ESRB or PEGI rating doesn't get too much time it should be there this Spring, otherwise it'll go for the summer. But yeah, we are getting there!
Do you have to release it with a rating? I know of a lot of PC games with none, but that might just be for that platform.
Mature yeah. Do you remember the old opening warning message: "Warning this game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore." or "Some parts of this game may be considered violent or cruel." ? That's the reason.
