Not sure if this has been asked yet, but will it play on the 4th gen iPod touch?

    Hello guys,
Here is the Interview with blue sun games:
    http://bluesungames.net/2013/04/interview-forgotten-memories/

Also, we've been dealing licenses recently with Nintendo and Sony (they both like FM quite a lot) and I'm proud to tell you that Forgotten Memories is also coming to the Wii U and PS Vita! Both versions will be enhanced graphically and will possibly feature extra content! More details soon! :)

    Yes,
The main difference it's a graphically down version of the game, I've post some images of the iPhone/Touch 4 some games back. Check it out! :)

Great interview Tato (or Mr. Paz?) :)

Honestly I didn't learn much I didn't already know from my constant lurking on this thread :p but those who don't know too much would do well to check it out. Actually, I'm glad exploration is a big focus. I didn't realize that. Just make sure there's a map (or for harder difficulties disable it :D).

Question: Graphical buffs for the Wii U I can understand, but the Vita is about as powerful as an iPhone 5 and less powerful than the iPad 4. What enhancements will that be getting? Or is it just easier to utilize the hardware because there isn't an OS like idevices have.

Bummer if they have content iOS doesn't have :( hope you put it in later for some DLC :D

Lol I'm going on an emoji binge here.

We can send more API calls with the Vita, no OS tick layer to traverse and it's possibly (faster or) as fast as an iPad4. Hardware wise is less powerful yes but iOS devices have more processes and OS stuff to deal with. :)
For the Vita it'll be 1 post process to enemies (some shadows have Alan Wake distractions). We are currently testing deply and maybe they will be available to iPad4 and iPhone5.
For the Wii U it's gonna be a lot more, extra post-processes, even higher quality effects. More volumetric effects (such as particles, ground tick fog, etc). Also you'll be able to split screens and get full immersion on your TV (nothing except message interaction will be displayed on your TV, everything else will be shown in the tabletpad! :)
We'll post soon some of the differences.
We have direct access to a minimap system on the inventory with exact player position (soon to be shown).
Yes, don't worry, what ever get's in the Vita and Wii U will also be available later in the iOS version.

    Good luck with everything :)

Just saying, an iPhone 5 is much more powerful then an iPad 4 due to the fact that the iPad has to push so many pixels for retina display on that magnatude.

Not too get off topic, but actually no. There isn't a 1:1 correlation between pixels and GPU power, and as the iPad's GPU is quite a bit better than the iPhone 5's (28.8 GFLOPS to 76.8, see AnandTech Benchmarks) it typically comes out ahead :)

Here's the fillrate with both devices at their native resolutions: [IMG]

This is only going by the benchmarks though, there might be other factors at play. You'd have to ask a developer to get the most accurate idea.

    Awesome sauce.

It really depends on all the tasks and layers the data have to traverse in order to get to the screen (and how much it must be displayed).
OS layers are heavy, Engine, API, drivers, etc. In a console you can barely speak to the hardware directly, that's why they can last a lot.
The Vita is somewhat comparable to an iPad4 in practice (even if they have different hardware).

That's the case, 3GS, iPhone/itouch4 will be a lowered-down version of the game.

No, it's not a point and click game, however you'll explore levels and interact with objects as in a point and click game but the same way as in old-school survival horror games (as seen in RE/SH series mind you). The difference here is that you'll be able to inspect your entire scene's objects, nothing will be left behind. :)

In case you miss it, check out the videos on the first page of this thread.
    Cheers,

No the game shouldn't be free as many people will give 1 star rating just because they can. If you want you can always make a lite version for people to try, but never ever make your full version free + unlock full game unless you want to invite 1-star ratings.

It won't be free, it would be premium, no demo, no trial. You'll have gameplay videos and trailers linked in the description page of the game if you wanna see how it looks and feel. As for pirates, we'll try to protect the game with anti-piracy stuff but it doesn't matter, IAP can also be hacked so.
PS: At least they'll be promoting the game freely. :)
