Good stuff mate, looking forward to it. Hopefully this and Prisoner 84 are only the beginning of great horror/survival horror titles to hit the app store.
More shots dear friends. Enjoy! Editor. Underwear clothes, Note: Rose look pretty big, but in fact she's not grounded, In game. Note: The dark/noisy effects on the image are by design, but can be switched on/off by the user. Here, Rose is looking behind the curtain. ^^
Apple might reject the app due to lack of clothing and stuff. they did that to a lot of apps. but that looks AMAZING! Does the 3GS really have that kind of fill rate? Can any devices handle anti-aliasing on this?
Are you kidding me? My first gen was $432 out the door. And now we have this incredible phone, for $199? Too expensive? Wow. There are garbage phones for more than $199.
The underwear clothes is not the default clothes. That's a unlockable bonus. We already talked to Apple about the clothing and other similar content in our game. They say is OK, it should not be rejected. They can handle anti-aliasing but on such small screen as the iPhone you wont provably need AA.
Wait is this an already released PC/console game? And you're basically working on its iDevice port? Or neither are finished? I'm kind of confused by the contradicting comments in the first post.
Rose look very detailed, like a million poly character, but in fact is due to the normal map and pixel lighting techniques. The character itself have less than 4500 polys and less than 6000 with clothes-hair, etc. Due to the nature of our game, we decided to push forward details on each characters, as you wont see 20 enemies on screen. ^^
It was a PC only game back in 2009. But is now an iPhone one at first, PC/MAC/Web/Android versions will follow. Of course this game is being developed in Mac computers, but tested on iPhone4 devices right now.
Both iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4G GPU, support hardware AA but we wont use it, it just useless on such small device. We can save that extra resource for more important stuff. Cheers,
@ Bold; info I was after. Sounds good. [EDIT] And it's just "iPhone 4" or "iP4." there's no "G." AT&T doesn't use 4G.
